We all respect Army for their dedication and discipline while Police is running always with bad name . QUOTE OF SARDAR PATEL: "Yours (Police) is the responsibility to maintain the prestige of the Government and protect the honour of the citizens. It is not enough if you only detect crime and bring offenders to book. You must also try to win the affection of the people.... A police officer or policeman who loses his head in handling a situation is not fit to be a member of the police force".
Some times it is also seen that defence officers / officials are playing foul with the card of emotion that people have with them, inviting bad name to their department and creating unnecessary conflict beteen Police and Army. Being the most disciplined and responsible department of the country , before finding the fault of Odisha Police, it is wise to see the indiscipline part of that defence officer and his lady friend . The provocative attitude of the duo from the road to the police station is a clear scene of lack of modesty and discipline.The normal entry in to the AIIMS and wheel chair exit from the AIIMS and the counter allegation of sexual assault by the lady victim is also most surprising and subject to a fair enquiry by the Army itself . Finding out of the exact fault of that defence officer and his lady friend may not bring any damage of image of any army officer/official in their civil life in future. Lodging of the entire fault with the police may be rejected by the general public and in no way it will benifit the Army . Respect is demanded not comanded.
