Both songs are great, but you know M, she "doesn't repeat herself". There's rumors she didn't want it as a single since it's similar to beautiful stranger, which it is, but I love amazing as well. I guess impressive was to "avant garde" with its techno sound for 2001.
Twenty years on I can't believe that Warner refused to release this song as a single, 'cuz they felt it was "uncommercial"! They must feel like slitting their wrists every time they witness the success of "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black-Eyed Peas... Madonna basically predicted the rise of EDM some eight years ahead! Talk about a forward-looking mind!

i would argue, Madam X is a bit of a return to this era musically - helps that she partnered with Mirwas again on that album, like she did on Music. and the Madam X tour was the closest to Drowned World - at least for me
