What can I say? It’s Eric Jones! I’ve watched him perform this FU routine so many times but it never fails to amaze me! As to my choice of coins, I prefer using silver coins for the shiny coin syndrome effect as Gregory Wilson called it.

Lethal Tender comes to mind when I think of self working coin magic. Coin palming takes practice so it doesn't quite qualify as self working, but practicing it enough times makes it a worthwhile effect.

SILVER they're more visual. Their sound is better and I feel the artwork is better and the history of American silver coins makes for great filler in patter.
