INFO:
Michael Jackson performing Billie Jean in New York City at the Madison Square Garden, on September 7th and 10th, 2001. Both shows were sold out within 2 hours, the most expensive seats cost $10.000.
THOUGHTS:
Sept. 7 has much more dancing, more so reminiscent of the HIStory Tour, but Sept. 10 has small cool moments and a classic breakdown + better vocals overall.
WHAT I DID:
I made a video mix featuring both nights, showing (imo) the best parts of each night, and the best angles at the right times for both nights, while also being theatrical and fitting for my overall mix. Audio has been extended and I added an isolated/filtered track of Michael beatboxing during the Munich (July 6th, 1997) show, as Michael was beatboxing in the amateur recordings of sept. 10th. I considered using amateur audio as a Matrix audio mix in an earlier version, you can listen to that here: • Billie Jean | Live at ...

Why there is not front view amateur in september 10 performance?
Idk
@mjj "I don't like anything from that performance" **immediately names things he likes from that performance**
Damn man. I know he was apparently high as a kite in the first one, but if the moonwalk fiasco didn’t happen that one could stand on its own. Really cool mix
Thanks! Yeah it’s a shame he goofed up the moonwalk in the first one
Fantastic mix. Imagine a re-edit with pro footage, the 30th Anniversary really needs it
Thanks!
Fr they should keep the “you know you can’t” part in though
"This is nothing short of a masterpiece! 🎥 The way you've blended both nights of Michael Jackson’s iconic performances at Madison Square Garden into one seamless and visually stunning mix is truly remarkable. Your attention to detail, from capturing the best angles to timing each shot perfectly, shows your deep understanding and respect for MJ's artistry. 🌟 The addition of the beatboxing track from Munich is a brilliant touch, adding an extra layer of authenticity and energy to the mix. You've managed to not only honor Michael's legacy but also elevate these legendary performances to a new level. Watching this feels like experiencing the magic of those nights all over again. Thank you for your incredible effort and dedication to preserving and enhancing these unforgettable moments. Keep up the amazing work-this is a gift to all MJ fans! 👑🎶"
Great work !!! I always wished how nice it would be with the september 7 first part dance and september 10 outro dance ❤❤❤ it would be more cool if u add the september 7 "you know you ain't" parts
Thank you! I thought about adding those vocals, but I ultimately decided against it
I preffer the ad-libs from 7th september.
I would like, michael say "don't call me billie jean" ad-lib in 10th september, but he not did :(
This is actually September 10th cuz the ad-libs are the same as seen on the amateur footage
It’s a mix of both nights, smartie pants 🙈
If I'm not wrong, MJ was in (medical) drugs during the first show, that's why he seemed tired or confused, for example, at 1:38 he snapped his fingers with his left hand instead of his right hand, and of course the poor execution of the moonwalk. He did much better in the second show in my opinion, he did perform some interesting moves on September 7th though.
Yeah basically
3:56 that angle is unbelievably perfect for the toe stand!
My favorite performance of Billie Jean ever, if we get blu-rey versions like in Munich it would be great but i suppose we will have to wait quite some time. There is one amateur audio from 10th Sept with heavy deep drums and vocals piercing when he does the adlips, it suits most the MSG performance, this is a bit too light on the drum side for my taste xD. I like the sound more livelike and i also think the first few seconds his mic is higher so you can hear a bit of live singing. ua-cam.com/video/9L_SKyR9H_Y/v-deo.html + ua-cam.com/video/n7ZilmtlbPE/v-deo.html on the first one the instrumental and vocals have so good echo and on the second one actually with headphones max volume u can hear his voice over the lip sync Amazing. Love it. Imagine if we could get vocals only from this performance, his vocals are amazing as i call it his 2001 voice so modern.
P.S. Actually is there any way to enchance such audios. If u can make a live-like mix :)
Why is this Billie Jean performance your favorite?
@@hazel4616 For so many years performing it he perfected everything, but above all the sound is awesome, the instruments arr my favorite from all eras + his style is modern everyrhing is different from the 20th century performances. And the adlips are very cool his voice is so different.. everything is superb and after all he is 43 and still rocks every move. I trully wish to have witnessed this anniversary concert and interestingly in the comments one guy said he worked in a coffee shop just across MSG and wanted so bad to go but the tickets were expensive and after the show people from the msg came to the shop and were talking it was the greatest show they have ever been to.
@@zarzaf6414 Hardly disagree with you, but it is your opinion.
And why exactly they had to edit the 2 performances into one??i mean the version that was shown on t.v
I think it's a very wel performance despite what was going on in his life that period..
This is what the TV Version should've been

Faourite new move 4:51
This is fantastic
Probably the closest we'll ever get to an Invincible Tour show was this
Splendid mix!
Thanks!
This is easily he best mix of this peformance! If we only we could see those amateur versions in pro...
Ahah thank you!
Thanks for stabilizing this.
Sure thing
Yesh I love it!!
I’m glad!
hello sir back again, this time high as 5 broomsticks 😊 here we go.. i just want to say that this video didn't surprise me but it did. amazing choices as newer angles to bring a new show atmosphere from one we've known for one way for so long.
• • •
1:34 • i always thought that if they were mixing both shows to make it look all like a mike show they definitely should've mixed in the jump into the first chorus. thank you sir.
1:37 / 3:00 • i am overly happy you added that damn heel tap in this video because that's one thing i hated about that broadcast. he does that in billie jean every performance. like mane.
3:17 • but i see why you left it at the 7th, because the ankle breaker move being in the 7th almost made the 7th a better performance than the 10th-if it didn't already feel like a regular performance, here comes the moonwalk..
3:40 • as far as the moonwalk, i see throughout this whole video you didn't want any crowd shots. cause you really broke the whole pro video to not have that lady sing 'woo' and i find that highly hilarious. but the toe stand was interesting, ik we're all tired of seeing the bottom of his shoes so i see the angle, figuratively and quite literally, that you were going for with that mix.
• • •
as far as the ending breakdown, i see you really embodied .. "wtf would this 2001 show look like back in 1997" and i am not mad that at all. i like the difference pace, direction and sequence the last dance had and even added the beatbox which was cool. nice kid..
Thank you ahah, I’m glad you enjoyed it
PLZ SEND ME THE LINK FOR THIS BILLIE JEAN AMATUER VIDEO 3:55 PLEASE @K MJ

Nothing that isn’t leaked. They’re just new compared to the pro version
@@kmj5997 Regardless, I’m Excited 😁
@@ZachMJAndSonicFan I’m glad!
yo kmj
They have the 2 versions on tv
but its from different shows and idk why the camers didnt recird everything especially when we have the pro versions? Why just, why?
Michael Jackson is the greatest king of pop in the world rest in peace with the angels God bless him. 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Even this video has new angles leaked???? Probably a Blue ray?
There’s no new angles that aren’t leaked, but there’s new angles compared to the pro mix of the show
What did Michael say? 🤔 4:15
4:15
"Know what you did to me, baby"
Thanks
@@VinVonVoom it’s actually “Look what you did to me babe”
@@IshaanMoonwalkerhe's correct. in this show he says "You know what you did to me baby". listen closely
great work my brother!
Thank you!
This mix is better than the professional broadcast one
Thank you!!
Great
Perfect❤️Is Best
Good job with the cover art and the remaster 😼👍
Thank you!
Too much crowd noise imo
Fake crowd noise spoils it.
@@mrpussinboots4252 so he also added, how stupid
@@Giova104 I didn’t add any crowd noise
@@Giova104 thanks!
@@kmj5997 The crowd noise was added in post production. As with every MJ official release (Bucharest, Wembley and munich)
