You wouldn't see many Democrats believing that NY Post suddenly saw "the Light." They'd be equally perplexed in that scenario, though less upset. They would perceive fear as being the reason, though. So, why is it that Dems would not go skipping through the streets believing that they had 'converted' Rupert Murdochs?
Again, because Democrats are far more familiar with right-wing publications in general than right-wingers ever allow themselves to be with .... well, anything whatsoever that is NOT right-wing. A conservative usually likes to live in their own hermetically sealed media environment. I get the impression that YOU have never so much as cracked a printed Washington Post in your entire life.
Please comment on things you have the slightest bit of firsthand experience with. It's WAY too easy for someone who knows something about the subject to spot your ignorance when you feel like you have to pipe up about every little thing whether you're familiar with it or not.

The papers management was so brave during Watergate, but they have turned their backs on the truth this time.
I have to disagree. I believe they recognize the dangers of Kamala Harris and her policies. We have seen these policies in play during the last 3 1/2 years and hard-working Americans are struggling to make meat because of these policies. I think the newspaper editors see the handwriting on the wall
@@t.r.campbell6585 Then you are deluded. Totally.

My $4 a month online subscription is ending. I grew up on The WaPo, but this current mess is nothing like what I have known.
What you’ve been fed until now is just one-sided propaganda, plain and simple. Maybe we’ll see a return to the days before Trump, where reputable journalism wasn’t a punchline. Let’s hope for a shift back to an era where the truth matters more than the narrative.
What!!!!!!!! Obviously, Jeff Bezo’s Washington Post is quite different from Katherine Graham’s. Common sense would tell you that billionaires should not be owning major newspapers. Headline- Donald Trump “ Billionaire’s Bestie”
Add that to Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump's bestie.
You do know Kamala is backed by 81 billionaires and she has raised twice the amount of money than Trump's campaign and Sets Record for Biggest Fund-Raising Quarter Ever yet says Trump is for the rich 🤔
Yeah. Bezoar just showed that he and Murdoch are bedfellows when it comes to Truth and Patriotism- which is to say, neither one has any.
You guys are pretty pathetic.

Just canceled my subscription of the Washington Post....

I have cancelled my subscription. I am incredibly disappointed by the cowardice of Jeff Bezos in hedging his bets with Trump and if he is not going to support the WaPo to fearlessly stand up to the authoritarian GOP then what's the point of their tagline 'Democracy Dies in Darkness'. It seems that Mr Bezos cares more about his government contracts than he does about democracy so it is up to ordinary Americans to vote 💙 and save democracy for all of us
I just cancelled my subscription as well. When Kamala becomes the next POTUS, I hope that people don't easily forget who the cowards were that didn't stand up for democracy.

The media has been and continues to be more than complicit. They are responsible for him.
The media are just profit maximizing by keeping Trump on the front page. Those that bow to Trump will be allowed to continue doing so. Those that don't risk Trump actually following through on his threats. Paradoxically if Trump could really turn the clock back to when he believes America was Great, he would also bring back journalism that might challenge him!
