Het nieuwe vlaggenschip van Yamaha, de Genos2 bevat de FM-technologie, geavanceerde Ambient Drums en de nieuwe reverb van Steinberg. Met de Style Dynamics Control heeft u de controle over de energie en dynamiek van alle 800 styles. Het is de grote broer van de PSR serie en een veelzijdig keyboard. U kunt prachtig piano spelen met de geweldige Yamaha CFX- of de Bösendorfersample, maar u kunt ook uitpakken door uw talenten te laten begeleiden door een geweldige band.

I own a Genos 1 and the big thing I was looking for in Genos 2 was better styles. The voices and styles themselves sound great but the architecture of the styles is so "1980s lame." Same old 4 bar phrases based on the original PSR engineering, with no enhancements that a really good drummer and accompanist would provide. Heck, Band In A Box has provided this round robin styling for years. Yamaha still thinks its home users are happy with these very predictable style patterns. Perhaps they are but for a $4,500 upgrade, it's the same old style architecture with better audio. The bones remain the same - very predictable and boring. Styles are the heart of an arranger. Make them justify the cost.
