My theory: The two brands are secretly investing in those memes as a way of marketing. Balenciaga started first, now Gucci is making up to the competition.
Those work as advertisements for sure, but it does not mean the companies pay for them. In fact, there's more than enough incentive to do it for free, so it would be quite surprising they paid for something that would get created anyway, imho.
marketing and branding is what gave them their perceived value and status so I wouldn't be surprised if they were behind this from the start, it's already changing peoples' perception.

my god A.I art is pretty amazing. tbh if you think that it's not going to take concept artists jobs away from people i think you couldn't be more wrong. The fact it can replicate the genetic make up of an actors face but change it a bit to a prerequisite and still make it accurate is beyond amazing.
