It’s crazy how much trash I talked about how Texas high school football teams would have dominated Berwick back in the day, but I really can’t say so if they’ve never played one another. I’ve been to Berwick before just to visit the city and that’s got blue collar written all over it. They are passionate about there team and to see George Curry pass away was absolutely heart breaking because he was such an incredible person. I hope that god gives Mike Bennett the opportunity to succeed as the head coach and can carry on the tradition of his former coach and have these young men look up to him the way he looked up to Curry. Those are impossible shoes to fill for Bennett, but just be a good role model for these kids.
So thankful to have had the opportunity to play for Coach Curry. The fight in that Dawg is bigger than anyone can imagine.
Absolute legend no question about it. He will be remembered for years to come.
Not only the greatest coach, but a wonderful person. He was the greatest.
