Population impacts of Avian Influenza

Claire Smith, the RSPB's Senior Policy Officer on Avian Influenza presented to a webinar meeting for Sussex Ornithological Society in April 2024. The 45 minute presentation indicates which species have been most affected and where, the progress of bird flu as the virus has involved, what the RSPB and other eNGOs are doing and the work of government in this area. The talk is followed by a Q&A session, chaired by Jack Thompson, SOS member and the RSPB's Conservation Officer for Sussex and some neighbouring counties.
