I was at the park with my wife and 2 yo son yesterday, and I was pushing him on the swing. My wife was taking pics and looked down by my foot, and she noticed a tip of a knife sticking out of the snow. She went down and dug it out and pulled out the Buck 110 auto. I looked at it and thought no way. It looked to be buried in the snow for a few months, I pushed the button, and it flicked out with no issues. I cleaned it up when I got home and it is in perfect condition no rust or damage other than some gouge marks on the tip of the frame, whoever owned it used it to open his beer bottles. Other than that, it is in perfect condition and SUPER sharp. I feel bad for the guy and would love to return it to him, but I have no way of finding out who lost it. So I guess I just came up on a really nice knife. I'll keep it till my son gets old enough to carry a knife and give it to him and tell him the story.
I have one, and it's a beautiful knife, the same 110 we know and love with a smooth flawless factory automatic deployment. I highly recommend it to all buck collectors and anyone looking for a high quality automatic knife.
@itoldyou6169 I'm debating between the auto and original versions. Have you had any issues with the spring failing you? Dependability means more to me then auto action but if it's dependable that's a fun feature
@@user-ep7sj7ul7o they are better now than they used to be! You have never had any old ones or new ones either? Have you? Don't lie! With that comment clearly you don't know about them at all! 😂
I’m Italian and this is no stiletto nor anywhere near that category. The only manufacturer that comes close to the beauty of the stiletto is Pro-tech with its godfather and godson switch blade.
Lets have a knife fight then. Ill slice and dice you up with that american made power while i drink beer, ACDC in the back and an american eagle will fly by as i shock you with the buck 110
I've carried my Buck Knife for over 20 years straight. Its been through all types of terrains, weather, activities and hasn't even flinched. Buying the 110 Auto for my next EDC. ❤
I bought the 110 auto elite with 230v stainless and its awsome. stays sharp, also bought the 112 auto wood one. its awsome also.. forever warranty is what I like to hear....
I had purchased a 110 in 1970 when I was in the Navy. I carried it until 2010 when someone broke into my car and stole it! I wish that you had a replacement for loss warranty. But I'm sure that wouldn't be cost effective. Maybe you could offer an insurance warranty a an extra cost! Just a thought. I would love to purchase another 110 but being retired it a bit of an expenditure I can't afford, but I'm saving up! I'm sure with shipping and any taxes and tariffs it not going to be real soon. But I'm definitely going to get one! It's the best knife I've ever owned! Keep up with your quality knives and I'll be a happy 110 owner one again! ATB Sam Adler from Vietnam
My dad's a retired Navy Seabee, and has always carried one of these on his belt (not the auto). Every time a boy on the family turns 18 that's what he gets them for their birthday.
Buck is missing a huge audience by not offering the 112 auto elite with a Drop Point blade. The 110 is a great hunting knife with the Clip Point, but the 112 is a great EDC for more versatile applications with the stronger Drop Point blade. And if offered in a 112 auto elite with a S30V blade… PERFECT. I’ve had an email to Buck’s Customer Shop out for a few days to learn if this is doable, but haven’t heard back.
Yup, speaks "Toledo" when you see it hehehe I got an few old Navajas from Toledo, spain, and Is just like this buck. Many knifes around the world got the influence of the work of the spanish steel, which is one of the best. And this buck looks really good, because looks pretty much like an old spanish navaja.
I'LL take it .... If only I didn't live in California . So... We Californians will just have to be happy to open our 110's . As Cool as only Californians can .
Please consider bringing your Canoe knife back to the good ol' US-of-A for manufacturing. In fact, please consider bringing back your whole 300 series. I would pay $100 fir one in a heart beat if it just had American fit and finish.
I've gotten the 110 auto and the 112 auto and am HIGHLY impressed with both. I really haven't carried either of them too much cause I'm worried about gunking the action up. I really didn't buy them to be safe queens but they are too nice to abuse. I wonder if it's possible to clean them ourselves.
Just bought one…omg!!! 5 Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟…forever warranty!?!?…sorry…never needed to use it…still got my first buck from 1971…went overseas in the marines with me…and it’s still rock solid…it’s a bit dull and chipped…but it tells a story…💯…this auto knife 🔪 is my carry knife now…thanks Buck…
*I have one....NO SAFETY. And it WILL DEPLOY if you inadvertently press the button. (like as in removing it from the sheath) One of the most dangerous knives I've ever seen. I'm amazed Buck hasn't gotten sued*
Just got mine today and had same problem (have a small cut on index finger to prove it). It's a 110 conversion I purchased from Charles Collectibles in Levittown, NY. so I'm not sure if it started out as a folder and was converted aftermarket. Couple times it re-opened without button (circular, not oval/crest shape) manipulation. Did a few drop tests from 2-3 feet and it opened upon impact. I'd like to return this P.O.S., and inquiring about doing so now. Pluses: looks great, feels like high quality, like you'd expect from a $225 Buck knife. Disappointment . High hopes crashed into a wall of lowered expectations.
Lovely knife in all respects. However, the action is just slow; it lacks authority, and drags itself across the finishing line, with a soft, Grandmotherly lockup. Perhaps it needs to break in a little, I don’t know. Good job on the holster - supple leather, yet sturdy, good stitching and rivets - strong snap.
All of the earlier 110 aftermarket auto conversions I've seen were sluggish too. I think it's just because of the weight/size of the blade. My 110 auto conversion has never failed to fully deploy or lockup though. I expect that the factory version works reliably too.
Not true, there's other great quality American knife makers out there. But I have to hand it to Buck for still making some of their knives in the U.S. & keeping them affordable; $65-$150 for a U.S. blade is a deal!

Classic Blade!!!
I got one for Christmas , and the button is sticking , not sure why?
What year did the buck 110 car come out? I have one that says it's from 2013. I don't know if it's true.
Are there any other official Buck variants of the 110 Auto?
I want a smaller one my buddy has this one it's to big for everyday use
Can I send mine in to have the blade upgraded to the new s30v option? I will gladly pay an upgraded blade fee.
I just got this. It’s S-tier, end game
Now if you could only make a version for lefties like me. Still might get this for a Christmas present to myself though.

So is the mechanism that deploys the blade (spring or metal clip) warrantied for life even if it wears out after years of use?
Joe S, this is what I hate about social media. Difficult to get answers when they are inundated with tens of thousands of notifications per day.

Whats the difference between 110 and 112 ?
112 is smaller, it has a blade just under 3". ( So it's legal in more areas.)
So sad mine failed after exactly a week and it wasn't even carried. Rather go with a Buck Impact.
