I really like that the video was more from a collectors perspective. I am on my way to master set 151, after that I might go for Paldea Evolved or Paradox Rift.
This! I wish there were more Tubers like him that focus more on how cool the cards are and less on how expensive they're going to be in the future, etc.
i feel like the switch to silver borders really helps paldean fates baby shinies, they all look so good
100% I literally had an “argument” with pokebeard about that and said the exact same thing!
I just hope that in the next "Fates" set there's a baby shiny Raikou since they've done the other dogs

Great vid. I really don't have any part of me that has ever cared for the baby shinies, so PF was never going to be above 151 for me.

Another category that I consider is the pack opening experience. I get hosed every-time I open Paldean Fates. I feel like I pull the same full art Clive, Palaphin IR, and Judge full art everytime. With 151, I pull some cool variety of IR’s and I could find SIR’s much easier than I can in PF.
I love using that very subjective metric as well! Does the set generally just feel fun to open or not. I should have made that a wild card round lol

151! if they made the 100 most popular shinys (mostly gen 1-2-3) gave some off the biggest pokemons like charizard, umbreon and pikachu special illustration rares and then gave every legendary full art shiny version you have the best set in the last 10 years.
So long as they don’t print it into the ground. Which you know they would do if they made a set like that 🤦
I appreciate that this video is for the binder master-setters! Both are easily 1a and 1b of the Scarlet & Violet Era... thus far, anyway! IF Paldean Fates had a few more IRs, and maybe 1 more banger SIR, it would be a slam dunk win for me, but 151 is just too nostalgic and nostalgia always wins.

I only opened a Pokemon center ebt and pulled the shinny Pickachu and Zard SIR 💣. I opened over 200 151 packs and still no Zard. What can I say 151 brought me back to Pokemon.

Paldea Fates is only cool for those shiny mons so for me 151 takes the(151 got me back into Pokemon TCG)
