This here is an historical moment captured. 7 years later they are Artist of The Year in American Music Awards 2021. In 8 years (2022) Grammy winners for sure.
They are not that much level to win grammys, remember 2021 grammy was not for them, and in 2022 also they won't get, artists who are more talented than them are still in line😏 Well let your hope for your artists remain still
@@melodystream2232 well, if they don’t win it that’s ok. It is just another American music award. One more one less there’s no difference at this point.
@@melodystream2232 Well the whole world knows how grammys sucks even some singers themselves admitted that the Grammy is all about being friends with the right people + !! Having a grammy doesn’t mean you are a Good artist !! Lot of Great And Popular Artists have never been even nominated and I don’t personally think that BTS needs a grammy to Proof how talented they are
Wow, the hate on this video is pretty bad. Im preeeeeetty sure BTS loves their fans regardless of whether they're being called 'oppa' or not. Even Jungkook, who used to be very irritated by it isn't as bothered by it anymore. Int. BTS fans are allowed to love their idols just as much as national fans are. You don't get dibs on who loves them more or less -that's not how that works? Also, the boys passed through safely here. It wasn't as though they were being touched and grabbed or anything, in fact they were treated relatively nicely given how excited the fans were. Some idols are treated much, much worse. Telling your idols that you love them in their language isn't disrespectful, cringey I can understand but it's not disrespectful. Korean fans even yell 'oppa' and no, you don't get dibs just because you're Korean. Korean fans don't know the idols any more or less than international fans do lol, you're just as much strangers as those people in the airport are. For the people that are like "why are they crowding?", "give them space" -of course you SHOULD do that but its easy to sit and critique other people on how to act when you're not there. Most of you that have never even seen the boys up close would probably react just as crazily as the people here did, maybe even worse. Don't hate just because these fans got a chance to see their idols and show some love.
Truth. Ive never met them. Just became army about month ago. Ive met seveal celebs in past. Freaking out is never a good thing. In fact I've met backstreet boys 3 times amd some of them more. Never freak out just be calm.. They are normal ppl just like everyone else who just happens to be really famous. Granted im like omg after but in an airport after they just got off plane have some respect and give them space. Its the right thing to do. And heaven forbid they arent wanting to be bothered..need to respect the boundries. Im sure it gives them anxiety everytime they in airport.
So amazed by this video! A lot of jhope fans ever since! Mostly i hear are screams for jhope. And look at how guarded Jhope was. Like literally the members Just surrounded him. The sun is truly the center of the system!!! You’ll always be famous Jung Hoseok ❤
They seem so uncomfortable, it makes me so sad that they have no regard for personal space or privacy. Shoving a camera in anyone's face is just rude. :c

It'sAllGucciDude Same I didn't watch it till the end cause I cringed so hard. I would just scream like Hello! or Love you! I mean everybody understands that...
Kryssy Kook Agreed. Someone here said "well if they can't speak Korean, how are they gonna talk to their idols?" Well, something as simple as "I love you", I'm pretty sure they can understand.
I'm Korean and I'm surprised at how many people here are offended that the fans were calling BTS "oppas." I thought it was slightly inappropriate since they aren't close with BTS and don't know them personally but you guys really over-exaggerated and made something really small into such a big deal. And funnily enough, most if not all, of the people complaining about this are not even Korean.
I felt they were to young for me but noticed J-HOPE immediately . His stage presence is freaken out is this world . 2018 with his mix is when I felt ok they are young men now . And he just got and continues to get better in every freaken aspect !! Wow !!!🔥🔥🔥❤️🇺🇸🤘🏼

Well they are enormously talented. But, there's a problem. In Korea, young people submitting to.......and what happens to young girls?? I don't want to KNOW.
It's sad to say that even if these fans look like a wild mess, they're better than how most fans would treat their idols. Like have y'all seen EXO at an airport arrival? I'm just glad they got there safely and no one got hurt.
this discussion is rather old but if I would meet them (not that that would ever happen HAHA *internally crying*) I would be able to see over Chim Chim's head. I'm taller than everyone of them xD
Wow! I only knew about BTS this year in April. I've heard their story and was amazed to see this video 9 years ago. They were famous already! Back in the days when they didn't have body guard yet, fans are crowding at the airport and being so close to the crowd.
I'm so overwhelmed. I envy and also respect all of you who supported and loved BTS from the beginning. It took me a quarantine and a depression to finally get over my shallow preconceived idea about kpop and BTS. Bts really changed me. And my only regret is not to stan them from begining.
They're just acting cool but i think when they were already inside the van, they were their dorky selves again saying stuff like "did you hear someone said 'saranghaeyo' to me?!?"
yeah i hope so. they probably love their fans and think about them nevertheless. in this video it may seem to other ppl fans are just making it hard to them. well, for me ive seen much worse than this. i hope the truth was the fans didnt bother them that much. plus i wasnt even there so i dont know what the real situation feels like or how they really feel. i also think its unnecessary for other armys to curse on every other armys like in this video. i dont feel comfortable at all. but like u said, i hope they were just acting cool and in the van or something they talk alot more about their fans as in appreciating the fans that actually came when they went to LA. they may not expect it, but alot of fans came. i hope atleast that makes them happy ^^
Now is so different. They are global superstars not even themselves can imagine. Its because of their hardwork, passion and love in what they are doing and dedicate their talents to. More power BTS.
getting it as a yt recommendation after 8 years...now the boys is ruling over usa....these boys came so far and i wanted them to be more successfull....💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Carol watkins it’s used by korean girls to call men 10 years older than them, the thing is that it’s only used in korean culture and when people outside Korea use it, they are called koreaboos (the ones who imitate Koreans and other shit) and it’s cringy
@@saltyplaysroblox ok thank you so much for your response!. I would assume they are trying to fit in and not be cringy but if they don't even understand it then I wouldn't do it. Just an odd situation because it's normally good to try to fit in to what your idol is used to
at 2:12 I heard someone screaming Namjoon oppa... OMG ! My heart flustered... He really don't believe if he had armys for him... But the truth is he had many armys. We always luv you BTS
Actually, I think they are being EXTREMELY respectful by not assaulting them like most westerners do. Kudos to them for that. They didn't seem distrubed by it. If anything, suprised that there were that many fans at LAX.
*:゚dara they did not invade their personal space they are fans and wanted to be close to them, on the contrary I was surprised that they will control the impulse to throw themselves on top off them, they have realized that when they arrive at the airport the boys do not interact much with the fans,it must be for that them to understand that they must keep the distance and they don't want to throw themselves on top of them, especially because They go to to other countries different from their and the fans are different , but they know the rules and they respect.
I mean think about it. You would want to see your favs up close if they were there. But these fans handled it much much better. They kept a perimeter of a few feet at first until they were signing albums that's why they got close. I actually think this is much much better than some of the other examples we have seen.
Here's the difference between then and now... fans were less crazy in this video fans were able to walk and talk with the boys without crying screaming shoving chasing grabbing the boys like nowadays
***** i was talking about people in thé airport.. I actually kinda can make thé différence between koreans and japanese and Chinese people.. I guess it has to do with thé fact that i stan kpop and let's face it.. Watching kpop is what i do 24/7
Oh God! Jimin is so beautiful. 19 years old and he looked like 15. He is shy, just like Michael Jackson was and that makes him even more attractive and tempting. Jimin is irresistible to any audience, not just 11-year-old girls.
Little did they know 4 years later even more fans coming and welcome them in the LAX and being called as the world’s biggest boy group by Ellen Degeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Kelly Clarkson, America’s Got Talents, Tyra Banks etc. I’m so proud of them😭❤️
I think it's rude to keep commenting "omg when America fans speak Korean cringe blah blah" Be considerate we are trying to learn their language for their sake, just the way some members are trying to learn English for us. We should support each other as international armys 💓
You must be extremely biased because I saw all ot7 being very friendly at various times and in various ways and many times Tae wasn’t visable here because he was behind other ppl so you overlooked our members just to watch him.
@@TinyWolfxx I mean they are all friendly, but judging from the video, TaeTae is the most friendly in here. Didn’t you notice in the video, it was Taetae who initiated welcoming the Army on the wheelchair to sign her album? I think that was really sweet and further portrayed how Taehyung really is so attentive towards Armys. Other BTS members would’ve followed the rule to not sign anything from the fans (of course there’s nothing wrong with the members following that rule), but as always, because Taehyung has such a pure heart, he disregarded this and signed her album anyway. That was really sweet and nice of him. There’s nothing wrong with saying this member is more friendly, more handsome etc. It’s not like that is an implication that other members are not. So please can you stop that? It’s like people can’t help to be offended by any little thing anymore.
Little Miss Acey First off, because they're not korean, so it's culturally awkward. Second of all, it's a korean term, so throwing it out there randomly is just as bad as saying "saranghae" and "umma" out of nowhere. When non-koreans use "oppa" and "unnie" towards kpop idols, it doesn't look respectful. It looks like you're just trying to be cute, and you definitely aren't. When I went to Bangtan's concert in NYC a few days ago, literally no one there said "TAEHYUNG-OPPA" or "JUNGKOOK-OPPA" or blah blah because we all know our place, and we know how disrespectful or stupid we'd come across. Just don't do it--plain and simple.
princessnicki63 so you're saying that people can't be culturaly different? Its their *fucking* *laguage*. That's a great way to show your intrest in korean by saying oppa. So you're also saying that only korean fans can use terms like oppa, and saying oppa is acting cute? I've seen a LOT of dubasses in my life, but you take the cake.
Nerdy Birdy Speaking actual Korean and yelling out "oppa, you're so gwiyowo! Kekeke" are two different fucking things. You sound obnoxious and stupid using the words like that, first of all. Korean is a LANGUAGE, not an accessory, so you seriously need to take twenty seats with that bullshit. And you really wanna use that "korean fans can do it, so why can't I" argument with me? Then look at it this way, since you're struggling so damn hard: that's like me using the word "papi" and "mami" to someone of latin american descent who I'm not even close to, mind you. Do you know how stupid that sounds? I've seen a lot of annoying ass koreaboos in my life, but "you take the cake." Get over yourself. If you went out in public in front of a bunch of koreans and yelled "OOH, UNNIE. YOU'RE SO DAEBAK," they'd look at you like you're a fucking moron. You really think that just saying "oppa" means that you care for Korean culture? Tell that to more matured international k-pop fans (because you clearly aren't one of them), and watch how fast they'll drag you. Have a nice day :)
Nerdy Birdy People like you are honestly so embarrassing. I'm gonna stand by my argument because your argument is weak as hell, and it makes no sense. Saying "saranghaeyo" and "neon choegoya" is perfectly fine, but "oppa" is pushing it. And hell yes, I'm gonna use the "papi" and "mami" as examples because it's the EXACT SAME THING (it's called "elaboration," if you even know what that means). Slang is not an official language you dumbass, but Korean IS. So yes, anybody on this fucking planet can use slang. That was an idiotic comparison, first of all, but nice try. Your argument is just unnecessary, and so are you judging by how you're blowing up right now. And really? "Get on my level?" What is this, 2010? You can't even say "get on my level" because you have no level whatsoever.
Y tenían los albums woow, en aquel entonces acceder a ellos era mucho más difícil y caro. Porque no habían tiendas en instagram, ni weverse pero solo por internet

I know everyone wants to meet them and when they do they'd scream and stuff but I felt so awkward watching this XD I don't know why I was cringing everytime they screamed their names or said oppa 😂😂
Same here. Especially a few girls were like holding on to their backpacks ...so awkward
Same I had to pause the video every time they said oppa 😂

Who said j-hope is ugly and least famous?? 🥺🥺 J-HOPE IS OUR SUNSHINE, OUR HOPE ILY HOBI
yeah Jhope is my bias, Jhope is our hope and sun
LATELY J-HOPE is my bias WRECKER (JIMIN) his white hair…ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! 9/2021 Also, it took me 7 years to FIND them but completely SOLD OUT!!
This here is an historical moment captured. 7 years later they are Artist of The Year in American Music Awards 2021. In 8 years (2022) Grammy winners for sure.
✈👍📸👁👁
They are not that much level to win grammys, remember 2021 grammy was not for them, and in 2022 also they won't get, artists who are more talented than them are still in line😏
Well let your hope for your artists remain still
@@melodystream2232 well, if they don’t win it that’s ok. It is just another American music award. One more one less there’s no difference at this point.
@@melodystream2232 Well the whole world knows how grammys sucks even some singers themselves admitted that the Grammy is all about being friends with the right people + !! Having a grammy doesn’t mean you are a Good artist !! Lot of Great And Popular Artists have never been even nominated and I don’t personally think that BTS needs a grammy to Proof how talented they are
@@melodystream2232 bts doesn't need grammys...grammy's needs them
Wow, the hate on this video is pretty bad.
CJ Damn preach 👏🏼

Omg the best comment I have seen preech👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🇺🇲🇺🇲 I just wished they would have at least waved back to there fans.
"Date me!"
"I don't date children."

TheAshMaster1000 LOL when DID he say that??

So amazed by this video! A lot of jhope fans ever since! Mostly i hear are screams for jhope. And look at how guarded Jhope was. Like literally the members Just surrounded him. The sun is truly the center of the system!!! You’ll always be famous Jung Hoseok ❤
They seem so uncomfortable, it makes me so sad that they have no regard for personal space or privacy. Shoving a camera in anyone's face is just rude. :c
Li'l Suga Bear Lmao compared to now I'm pretty sure they wish how it was back then😂😂
Li'l Suga Bear I guess that they just simply didn't expect people to be waiting for them in USA
Li'l Suga Bear ikr
it ain't rude if u choose fame as ur carieer u have to deal with it😑
Li'l Suga Bear I agree with you
I enjoyed this. j-hope got so much love.
Wow hi im from 2019😊 looking at them in 2014 vs 2019 WOW.. all the bts member have grown up and become the worldwide artists😭 im so proud of them😭 in 2019.. they even sold out their tickets in Wembley Stadium in just 90 minutes and achieve a lot of awards and worldwide records😭💜 bts that always get criticise from people and was from a small company turn into the most famous artists around the world! *THANK YOU ARMY THAT STAN THEM SINCE THE FIRST TIME YOU MEET THEM AND GIVE THEM SUPPORT.. THANK YOU ARMY FOR ALWAYS BE THERE WITH BTS.. BORAHAE😭💜*
2014 damm ..,😲😲 they were so famous back then too
And security measures too 😂🤣😂🤣lol
Thank you everyone who showed them love from the very beginning💜
Everyone saying that j-hope is underrated but his name is being called out the most😂😂
I think it's because he's not as popular in Korea as he is in America
Seino Parker
Jhope was hardly popular in Korea back then that's why. For some reason Hobi was disliked in Korea. I was so happy to see love for Hobi here even back in 2014
not true f he underrated bcoz he only succes his hope world solo u know
@@cristinalaguira7482 b*tch this video is 2014 he already famous in the aboard.
Who is here in 2020? What a difference, they push their own luggage cart. Keke...they are the best boys who worked hard to be on the top of the world!
ya really i was like dang they pusing their own. and also they signing albums. they cant even do that now. fans back then were very lucky. nowdays not safe for them sadly
It was kinda cringe-worthy when they were yelling "oppa". And I cringed harder when someone said "saranghaeyo oppa!"
Well yeah, because they're actually Korean...but when US fans or international fans say it repeatedly, it's kinda Koreaboo-ish.
It'sAllGucciDude Same I didn't watch it till the end cause I cringed so hard. I would just scream like Hello! or Love you! I mean everybody understands that...
It'sAllGucciDude I KNOW RIGHT. LIKE WHEN SOMEONE SHOUTED 'J-hope oppa' I ACTUALLY WANTED TO WALK TO TJE BATHROOM AND DROWN MYSELF
It'sAllGucciDude I came here to say this. Like. You can just say, Yoongi I love you. They're not children, they understand I love you in English 🙄
Kryssy Kook Agreed. Someone here said "well if they can't speak Korean, how are they gonna talk to their idols?" Well, something as simple as "I love you", I'm pretty sure they can understand.
You guys who there for the very beginning are luckiest , thank you guys , salute!
wow they love all the boys. and J-hope is being calle mostly.
I love You Suga forever
I'm Korean and I'm surprised at how many people here are offended that the fans were calling BTS "oppas." I thought it was slightly inappropriate since they aren't close with BTS and don't know them personally but you guys really over-exaggerated and made something really small into such a big deal. And funnily enough, most if not all, of the people complaining about this are not even Korean.
Preach
I didn't know this at first too! hahaha
Seriously? I don't understand this kind of people (−_−;)
For sure we are not going to be close we are big fans and we love them and support them no more no less!
Go BTS ❤️
You should be happy. You could go to fansigns and stuff :( I'm not even close to America
I live watching BTS live and army st award shows and concerts but I only listen to the rap line . J-HOPE is the one I listen to daily . I have been saying for years JHOPE just go solo to grow . I personally feel it was obvious . Lol got a lot of crap from haters but I can see it !!!
Well they are enormously talented. But, there's a problem. In Korea, young people submitting to.......and what happens to young girls?? I don't want to KNOW.
Who said BTS wasn't famous Suga's cap literally spelt FAMOUS... Fight me!!!! 🤔
He looks so hot here, TBH. Gawd.
@@marblesgrande1680 agree...he look very good 😍😍😍
It's sad to say that even if these fans look like a wild mess, they're better than how most fans would treat their idols. Like have y'all seen EXO at an airport arrival? I'm just glad they got there safely and no one got hurt.
the fans are just excited to see them, im sure they don't mean harm or disrespect. Yeah it can get crazy sometimes but I don't blame em xD

i love how theres really no security around and the army fans still kept their distance and wasn't screaming all loud ...
Did u watch the last 6 minutes?? Plz!! They’re so annoying!! They need their privacy.
@@milej4701 lol yes I did but I was trying to ignore the ones that kept getting close 😅
They didn't have security because they were not expecting the fans to be there , because they didn't announce anywhere their arrival
THEY BTS ARE THERE!
the fans were peaceful and that's cool!
imene chan Except for the ones shoving there cameras in their faces.
Sureeeee
Wow! I only knew about BTS this year in April. I've heard their story and was amazed to see this video 9 years ago. They were famous already! Back in the days when they didn't have body guard yet, fans are crowding at the airport and being so close to the crowd.
Little did these 7 young men know what their future held and how they United fans from so many countries. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I'm so overwhelmed. I envy and also respect all of you who supported and loved BTS from the beginning. It took me a quarantine and a depression to finally get over my shallow preconceived idea about kpop and BTS. Bts really changed me. And my only regret is not to stan them from begining.
I'm Korean and I wasn't an Army till this summer, so I get you. But I'm full on fan-mode now! They're so precious and we must protect them!!!
Me too
They're just acting cool but i think when they were already inside the van, they were their dorky selves again saying stuff like "did you hear someone said 'saranghaeyo' to me?!?"
yeah i hope so. they probably love their fans and think about them nevertheless. in this video it may seem to other ppl fans are just making it hard to them. well, for me ive seen much worse than this. i hope the truth was the fans didnt bother them that much. plus i wasnt even there so i dont know what the real situation feels like or how they really feel. i also think its unnecessary for other armys to curse on every other armys like in this video. i dont feel comfortable at all. but like u said, i hope they were just acting cool and in the van or something they talk alot more about their fans as in appreciating the fans that actually came when they went to LA. they may not expect it, but alot of fans came. i hope atleast that makes them happy ^^
Gin❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Now is so different. They are global superstars not even themselves can imagine. Its because of their hardwork, passion and love in what they are doing and dedicate their talents to. More power BTS.
Not only ARMY but BTS was also fascinating by seeing ARMY 😀😂

What is this oppa thing and what makes it embarrassing?
Carol watkins it’s used by korean girls to call men 10 years older than them, the thing is that it’s only used in korean culture and when people outside Korea use it, they are called koreaboos (the ones who imitate Koreans and other shit) and it’s cringy
@@saltyplaysroblox ok thank you so much for your response!. I would assume they are trying to fit in and not be cringy but if they don't even understand it then I wouldn't do it. Just an odd situation because it's normally good to try to fit in to what your idol is used to
And to think after this they got 'kidnapped' lol
at 2:12
I heard someone screaming Namjoon oppa...
OMG ! My heart flustered... He really don't believe if he had armys for him... But the truth is he had many armys. We always luv you BTS
why crowd around them?
Its so awkward and an invasion of their personal space it makes me sad
dara ortiz true, but atleast they didn't get jumped lol
Actually, I think they are being EXTREMELY respectful by not assaulting them like most westerners do. Kudos to them for that. They didn't seem distrubed by it. If anything, suprised that there were that many fans at LAX.
*:゚dara omg ik ugly rats
How did this guy manage to get such good footage and get so close? He was practically up in J-hope's face at one point.
I'm crINGING literally I feel so bad for them. Theyre normal people ;-;
What would you do if you see them then Just Walk away? Psh I Bet No Ones will do That =_=
A Cup Of Tae Ikr these keyboard fans are so quick to judge just because they arn't in the situation
ItsChloe I thought it was only one who was cringing! Thank god
Here's the difference between then and now... fans were less crazy in this video fans were able to walk and talk with the boys without crying screaming shoving chasing grabbing the boys like nowadays
What else do u think the fans should have done.😑
I am so happy for Hobi. For all of them. Thanks for this video.

Oh God! Jimin is so beautiful. 19 years old and he looked like 15. He is shy, just like Michael Jackson was and that makes him even more attractive and tempting. Jimin is irresistible to any audience, not just 11-year-old girls.
But now they are cannot to freely walk at public area! Up down left right must be tightly guarded!! 💜💜💜

As always, Tae Tae is the most friendly and attentive!
You must be extremely biased because I saw all ot7 being very friendly at various times and in various ways and many times Tae wasn’t visable here because he was behind other ppl so you overlooked our members just to watch him.
@@TinyWolfxx I agree with they are all really friendly
your profile pic is so cute
Jimin and jhope are the most friendly anyways😏

I feel like cringing so hard when non Korean fans say "oppa"...
Like...can we not do that, please?
Why does it make you cringe
Little Miss Acey
First off, because they're not korean, so it's culturally awkward.
Nerdy Birdy
Speaking actual Korean and yelling out "oppa, you're so gwiyowo!
Look at Yoongi and Jimin they're actually tall. But they really look tiny and cute beside Namjoon and Jin.
Yes coz RM is the tallest and Jin is the 2nd tallest member in BTS. Yg and Jm are the shortest members
I felt my heart melting after they signed the girl on the wheelchair's poster or paper 😍😍 JIMIN AND V !!
