Why so brash with Marvin? His love for the girls has always been reflected in the beautiful work he does on his videos. The ladies always look so stunning (that includes the director Akai too). Marvins videos make me feel like I’m there. It pains me to think that the dolls are being bullied in any kind of way. I hope these young ladies know how wonderful and talented they are!
Those babies were freezing. You try smiling and looking comfortable the entire time you’re sitting in freezing weather. People are so critical of these girls. Sometimes they’re tired, out of Breath, or not feeling well but they dance. My lord.

Amita Patel precisely. I don’t think there’s any uniforms for that type of cold. They dance in the cold and rain. Part of the job lol. I was miserable when I was in the band so I know.
R LEON I think below a certain temp they should just let them wear they sweats or get them an appropriate winter uniform like the stingettes have their trench

These Ladies are dancers, we have no idea what they go through in practice to perform as well as they do with minor to no mistakes. Over the years whoever is CAP, THEY VERY WELL EARNED IT...Thank you DOLLS for being graceful, classy and the ability to let your BEAUTY SHINE THROUGH.

Airelle and Lindsey stood out during this game. I wasn't on board with Lindsey until recently but she's holding it down between Jada and Kaylon. J & K are a tough act to keep up with but she has it now. Airelle has been that girl ALL season.

I wish people would realize that being a good captain takes more than just being a good dancer!! All of these ladies are beautiful and talented but leading a team and handling the pressure is not for everyone! I love Micah and I think she embodies everything that a Dancing Doll is!!

Wow. This clip really highlights the quality musicianship of the band. The best playing band I've ever heard. I thought they just killed "Whiskey." But they slay every song that they play. Mercy! The Dancing Dolls, though fabulous while freezing their tails off to boot, are only complimentary to the band. Not the main feature. I would buy this band's CD lol.

It pains me to see how critical people are to these girls. From the uniform, hair style, makeup, to the counts. I think it's so unfair to keep throwing stones because it's so obvious how hard these young ladies work to maintain the "Dancing Dolls" reputation. Let the girls enjoy themselves without all the negative talk about who should be captain and who threw what count. Geez!!!
I've been saying this all season. Just let these women be great!
It is one thing to be constructive, but folks are down right nasty and it is sickening. These girls are from 18-21 years old and it is no reason to be nasty. The age of social media and exposure of HBCU culture to mainstream culture has made these girls quasi-celebrities and folks think they can say anything about them.
Anyone being critical are haters. Black women are diva queens and for some it's just a little too much to handle 💯

I keep reading comments where people say shes really nice but I haven't seen it...I've watched every game this season and every video she's either mean mugging or going off on somebody...she did the same thing at crankfest...I understand looking out for your girls and all but everybody ain't go e let you talk to them like that...somebody not gone care where they are and what they doing at that point..

I left the comments for one week and here y’all come talking about the dolls. Baby look, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say nothing at all. Act like you have some home training and keep your ill-willed comments to yourself.
If you ain’t trying to be uplifting don’t be ugly and critical. We didn’t come for your comment. We came to this video to see them dance.
Props to the Dancing Dolls and all those dancers out there. Y’all are doing a great job and can’t nobody tell you otherwise. God’s doing something in their life. Stop blocking your blessings and catch one because he’s dropping them down everyday. Maybe then you’ll understand why these ladies do what they do.
Y’all, think about the pros AND CONS of being a majorette in this day & age where social media gives any & everybody license to be kind & rude to a person. I feel for these young ladies. I hope they’re able to fully enjoy the experience as dolls of yesteryears could. I have a feeling that doing so is easier said than done.

AMEN! It’s difficult enough when you have the pressure of being a college student, hours of practice, and performing in front of thousands of people. When you add in social media/UA-cam “critics” who are most often 100x’s removed from the these young ladies, the organization, the university, the art form, etc. bringing so much negativity, it adds a whole new level of difficulty.
Beautyand Positivity exactly there should definitely be a sanity test before people get internet. The majority of these people critiquing them mad cause they can’t do it.

If the SU team blocks their own blessings and doesn’t allow you to film the dolls next season... whew.. the dolls are gonna lose a lot of fans and we’ll be forced to watch other teams 🤷🏽♀️

Brooke You have to prove to people why you got the captain position and Micah hasn’t proved that. This is life, and you will have people that oppose against certain things you get. Micah and Gabby aren’t the first and will not be the last to be criticized as captain. I remember when they criticized Stamper and Pittman and they came out legends at the end. Why can’t Micah do the same? Maybe Micah and Gabby weren’t meant to be in the Captain spot, if they can’t take the heat.

There was a picture where her lace was 1/2 an inch too far down on her forehead, and it was lifting, and it wasn’t exactly her skin tone😂 I saw it from an Alcorn band member so I’m assuming it was a joke around the band community. That’s why I said the wig is the issue, not the cameras😂

I appreciate the Jukebox’s and Dolls ability to go out there and perform week to week but...i have to say that most of this season has been a disappointment. There’s been no wow factors which, for the past 5 seasons or so we have consistently seen. I’m not sure if there’s a disconnect about what direction the Dolls are actually going but it comes through in their lack of “pop”. They’ve set the standard so high in the department of sound/dance and it’s just unfortunate to see them not reach their own high standards. Of course all of this is my own opinion. ☺️ Nice footage though!

f the Dolls were being made as memes because of bad hair, then that’s Akai’s fault. She’s the sponsor. She’s supposed to make sure they look good before they leave the band room. That would be the best way to protect them.These people are cameraman not hairstylist.
Secondly, that’s not Southerns stadium and she can’t tell him what he can and can’t film on their grounds. Lastly, it really pains me to see how rude she comes off towards a black male. I know she has their best interest at heart, but as a school administrator, theirs a way you must go about things and she needs a major overhaul on her decorum in public. It’s not doll sponsor like at all.
