Heimler, I got a 2 on ap World despite me studying for a week and pretty much failed my other ap tests. My family downgraded me and humalited me in front of my other family members, making me feel stupid and dumb. Thank you for posting this video as it was a nice positive message to get.
I started watching your videos 2 years ago for AP World, and continued doing so for APUSH. Despite being the stem major kid that has always despised history, your videos and advice has given me a 5 in both tests. I have ADHD and struggle with reading books for long periods of time, I know I could have never passed these crazy classes without the videos you've made- let alone thrived the way I have. You promised me an A in my class and a 5 on the exam in may, and you sure as heck delivered. Unfortunately, my journey with you ends here as It doesn't seem I can take AP Gov next year with my current schedule. But I won't ever forget you. Its not just the score I got on the AP Exam- I literally see the world differently now because of the history knowledge that I probably would have been too lazy to ever digest in any other way. I'm also able to save thousands of dollars since I won't need to take these classes in college. I'm also now considering working on educational videos on UA-cam because you've proved to me how effective videos like this can be first hand. Thanks for all you've done for me and the thousands of other students that you've helped.
I got a 2 when I took apush back in high school, and just don’t sweat it. Things will get better and easier. It’s hard to know what to expect for your first one!

I get it, some teachers are just like that. Don't worry about it too much. No one should be expected to self-study an entire course because of the fault of their teacher. And remember, after your many great accomplishments, you will look back at the score and smile in good humor.
My first ever 5, I can’t believe it. Heimler, thank you, AP world was so intimidating but you and my teacher saved my score. This is the end of ap history for me, so, goodbye I suppose, Champa onwards.
Took APUSH last year and got a 3 thanks to you. Now I’ve graduated with a 3.57 GPA and survived the SAT (1150) and AP Stat and Music Theory exams with a 2 and 4 respectively (you can tell I’m much better at music 😅) and I came back to say thank you for believing in me and millions of other people who wanted to give up. Thank you for everything you for us AP students and College Board survivors, it never goes unnoticed. 💕 Edit: some of y’all just can’t be happy for somebody else. In case y’all can’t read, I already graduated. This was supposed to be a happy letter to someone that saved my grade and exam score and I ended up getting belittled. I got into one of my top colleges and I am thriving, leave me alone. 🙄
1150 is pretty bad imo. Like it isnt awful, but considering you take APs you can definitely do better. If your still in high school i highly recommend taking it again

World history was the first AP I ever took, and your videos helped inspire me to keep working hard for those fives; just finished with a streak of 7! Heimler, I just got back my AP scores. I’m a graduated senior this year so i didn’t put much pressure on myself and was pretty much expecting a 3/4 for APUSH and AP Gov. Sophomore year, I took AP World and was not expecting anything, but watched your videos religiously and got a 5. This year, with APUSH and AP Gov, I was incredibly pessimistic, mainly because I had a horrible teacher and senioritis and also a terrible memory (which persists to this day). However, I still tried to watch your videos and keep on top of both my classes and even purchased the APUSH review packet (just like I had 2 years prior). I got my scores back today and got all 5s. I was obviously shocked but also so so thankful that I had you and your videos to get me this far. I’m sad I won’t have you as a resource in college and beyond, but thank you for all that you do and for the help with my 3 5s!

Heimler I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you. I’m such a crappy test taker but I did APUSH anyway, I genuinely thought I was going to get a one or a two but I GOT A THREE!!! I just can’t believe I did so well and thank you so much for helping me review, it really refreshed me and helped me bring older stuff to the front of my memory. Thanks for all your help Heimler! I got a 5 on my AP gov exam and it’s all thanks to your videos! My teacher made us study for the test by talking to seniors who took the AP US gov exam and playing quizlet lives the entire time which didn’t really help and I wasn’t able to study for it outside of school because I had to study for other tests that were happening sooner. I ended up binge watching your AP gov videos on the weekend before the test and took a bunch of notes. If it weren’t for you I probably would’ve gotten a 1 or 2! I’ve been stressing about this exam ever since the beginning of the semester since this was my first AP class. Thank you for all your help!
I just saw this video now. I got a 3 on my APUSH exam and I'm proud of myself. I had a low self-esteem in my class and thanks to Heimler and my teachers, I was able to get what I wanted. Thank you for these videos they were very helpful. I have a lot more confidence for my AP Euro class next year.

Hey Heimler! Ever since my freshmen year (which happened in the pandemic), your videos have been a part of my life. Every single history AP I’ve taken I got a passing score and so much of it was largely thanks to your videos (especially AP gov this year; I thought for sure I was cooked!). But you’re not just an amazing teacher, you’re an amazing person as well. The fact that you commit so much of yourself to helping us AP students shows how much you care. You’re passionate not just for history, but also for helping us learn about history. Thank you so much for these past four years. I never have to take a history course again (except for music history as a part of my major) and so much of that is thanks to you. I plan to become a teacher in the future and you’re one of the many teachers I’ve encountered who inspire me! Again, one last thank you for helping uncook so many of us this year and all years past. Hey Heimler, 2024 grad here! Just wanted to come back and say thanks for all the help you’ve given to everyone over the years. World history was the first AP I ever took, and your videos helped inspire me to keep working hard for those fives; just finished with a streak of 7! Congrats to all, and whether you got a 1 or a 5, if you gave it your all and did the best you could do, be proud of it!!
Heimler, I just got back my AP scores. I’m a graduated senior this year so i didn’t put much pressure on myself and was pretty much expecting a 3/4 for APUSH and AP Gov. Sophomore year, I took AP World and was not expecting anything, but watched your videos religiously and got a 5. This year, with APUSH and AP Gov, I was incredibly pessimistic, mainly because I had a horrible teacher and senioritis and also a terrible memory (which persists to this day). However, I still tried to watch your videos and keep on top of both my classes and even purchased the APUSH review packet (just like I had 2 years prior). I got my scores back today and got all 5s. I was obviously shocked but also so so thankful that I had you and your videos to get me this far. I’m sad I won’t have you as a resource in college and beyond, but thank you for all that you do and for the help with my 3 5s!

Thanks for all your help Heimler! I got a 5 on my AP gov exam and it’s all thanks to your videos! My teacher made us study for the test by talking to seniors who took the AP US gov exam and playing quizlet lives the entire time which didn’t really help and I wasn’t able to study for it outside of school because I had to study for other tests that were happening sooner. I ended up binge watching your AP gov videos on the weekend before the test and took a bunch of notes. If it weren’t for you I probably would’ve gotten a 1 or 2! I’ve been stressing about this exam ever since the beginning of the semester since this was my first AP class. Thank you for all your help!

Hey Heimler! Ever since my freshmen year (which happened in the pandemic), your videos have been a part of my life. Every single history AP I’ve taken I got a passing score and so much of it was largely thanks to your videos (especially AP gov this year; I thought for sure I was cooked!). But you’re not just an amazing teacher, you’re an amazing person as well. The fact that you commit so much of yourself to helping us AP students shows how much you care. You’re passionate not just for history, but also for helping us learn about history. Thank you so much for these past four years. I never have to take a history course again (except for music history as a part of my major) and so much of that is thanks to you. I plan to become a teacher in the future and you’re one of the many teachers I’ve encountered who inspire me! Again, one last thank you for helping uncook so many of us this year and all years past.
