"Several days into the tour, JBL (who by all accounts had been drinking) did something that caused Styles to physically retaliate in defense. A number of wrestlers stepped in between them and held the two apart. When JBL broke free, he went towards Styles, who "nailed him perfectly with a pretty good shot" according to one witness, laying JBL out and blackening his eye. There were no further incidents between the two on the tour after that." Original report. Anyone should be able to get the jump on someone in that situation. Styles pulled a bitch move.
To be honest, is there ever a time Bradshaw isnt drinking? And with Styles being smaller and weaker than Bradshaw, you really cant blame him. HEY MAN, THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!! VERY SURPRISING!! This is the way it should always be: sit down and figure it out in peace. If only they can delete all those other videos about this thing, there must be a thousand videos about these two!
ECW used to film pay per views at the Marietta civic center just north of Atlanta. I lived in Marietta then. I saw every show they did there. ECW was a blast. Those shows were wild. WWF/ WWE didn't come to Atlanta back when WCW was big. But, we got lots of ECW. And, of course WCW. I miss those old school days of going to see wrestling.
What even happened? All I could tell was that he didn't give up his seat, and someone (not JBL) hit him on the back of the head at one show that made him bleed everywhere.
I'm glad I stumbled across this video. I always wanted to know more to the story but all I can find was stuff that was more like rumored kind of deal. I'm really glad that they made up in the end though. So many wrestling stories you hear people are still better about, especially some of the stories you hear about the clique. JBL has a history of being a bully, but I don't think this was a bowling thing I think this was a personal grudge thing that was never quite clarified.
IF I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET JBL THIS IS WHAT I'D DO: On the Raw Is Owen special the day after Owen Hart was negligently killed by Vince McMahon's contracted riggers Bradshaw spoke sadly about how in the short time that he'd gotten to know Owen he saw just how special and great a person Owen Hart was - how he was a real man with the right priorities and sound morals etc etc. If I ever met JBL I would ask him: "What do you think Owen Hart would think of you today with your reputation for being the WWE's most craven bully?" I'd toss that one at him, walk away, and let him chew on that. One man will go down in history as the nicest WWE wrestler of all-time and one will be remembered for being the biggest bastard to stalk the locker room.

I think I'd get a lot of heat. Because I'm a first come first serve believer. I can see why you should cede your seat to a vet. And I would. But only if I respect you. Based on what I heard I don't respect JBL.
Should've got someone who didn't spend a majority of their career wearing daisy dukes to do the chairshot, might've actually done some damage and knocked some sense into JBL.

I still don't care for his bullying ways, but at least he owned it and apologized. I'm sure Meanie won't see this, but much love to you brother, thanks for the memories. You and the rest of the ECW crew made my 90s.
Never liked Meanie back in the day, I have a lot of respect for him these days
Wrestling is fake...
Same here. I hated him but this is genuine. You can tell and that's what I respect. No ego whatsoever
@@BuryingYoungTalent and u are a fucking idiot
This guy looks hella humbled.
@@BuryingYoungTalent Movies are fake too. So what? Fake things are great.
from the way meanie tells it he still managed to get ahold of jbl and give him some before the rest got to him. and lets not forget that chairshot that split his head open from stevie richards during jbl and the meanies match
If people haven't already found out?joey styles k.od jbl for real.
Yes he did!!!
He punched him he didn't knock him
He stood up for himself, which I'm sure confused JBL
You forgot to mention JBL was drinking. It's amazing how that gets left out.
At least he did something to defend himself, and as you said there was never another incident between the two. Joey pulled a bitch move, but he gained some respect from Bradshaw some where.
“WHY THE F IS THE BLUE MEANIE IN 1ST CLASS!” 😂😂😂
That wasn't his fault King. The men acted like divas more than the woman did tbh.
That chair shot was one of the hardest chair receipts I've ever seen
Can we just take a moment to step back and admire the hair?👌
You know your a good dude when you make a green "mistake" and of all people Bob fucking Holly stands up for you
I just wish it was Meanie that had gotten that chair shot in instead of Stevie. However, he is one of the nicest guys in the business and probably would have held back.
Jbl will always be remembered as the time when wrestling was in its worst form and him as a champ, and for giving us such good knockout loss in the brawl for all when Bart gunn punched him so hard he was ass up asleep in the ring !
like Heyman said "The only reason you were WWE Champion for a year...Was because Triple H didn't wanna work tuesdays!"
I won't say JBL will be a memorable champ, but he made me hate him and that's the job of a good heel.
WWE is even worse now, the roster is completely stripped across the board and there are no top guys whatsoever worth a crap besides Lashley, Reigns, and Lesnar. AEW seems to be the place these days.
Made me stop watching his show. That's a bad job.
One of the heaviest Philly accents I've heard in a while, holy shit
Sandman,Raven, and Stevie Richards have good ones too.
That's Philly accent? I'm not from the US, English is not even my first language but I think that's the best English accent that i've heard
@@aroldoarielzambrano Yes. It's found in parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
It's crazy because I can't pick it up. I'm from Michigan and people say we have an accent. Weird how that stuff works.
@@PissedUAWElectrician Listen to Bam Margera talk to hear a heavy Philly dialect. People from Michigan sound midwestern to me. Similar to Chicago, but slightly different.
I Wish in an alternative universe Meanie stood up and yelled “ I DIDNT BOOK MY FLIGHT ! I DIDNT KNOW “
He should have for sure
We need an interview with Joey Stiles about knocking out JBL!!!
It's on our to do list.
Still blows my mind. In the flesh a lot of wrestlers are smaller than you think, but not JBL, dude was massive at his fighting weight, legit 6'6 ... and Stiles is a small guy.
Just shows though that if you stand up to a bully they back down.
KatchouroBlade If you watch Brawl For All you'll see JBL doesn't have a great chin.
Joey might be little but he's from Philly and used to hang with the ECW crowd in a rough part of town. I reckon he can throw if he needs to.
that would be a great episode to watch
bigevilworldwide1 "became friends" = JBL is a bully who shits it when people stand up to him.
You can bet he didn't do shit to Stevie Richards
Oh i love Mick he is so caring
Meanie: JBL is a bully
JBL: HOW DARE SOMEONE SAY I AM A BULLY!!!! going to bully him sooo bad, that'll stop people calling me a bully.
and hannibal i love that you still pay attention to your older uploads thank you for being so communicative and interactive brother i look forward to one day meeting you and maybe trade road stories

Blue Meanie looks like Keith Olbermann now
"I don't remember any of that", this seems to be the go to line in the wrestling business.
Blue Meanie is the Alfred Hitchcock of wrestling 😅😆
Jbl sounds like a jealous woman lol what man would get mad at something like that?
No one knows why JBL unloaded. It's unlikely to be the first class seat. Perhaps something smaller, even BM doesn't know for sure it was just something that happened close to the event.
Normal people don't become wrestlers.
🗣A BITCH
He looks great!
Al Snow’s Head he's certainly well fed
Yo Jamal he does! his beard and hair are on point lol.
Apart from some grey hair, he basically looks exactly the same as he did 25 years ago. It's kind of creepy, tbh
This story will never die. Lol
How does a guy this gentle and nice end up in Professional Wrestling?
I am not saying that he could not perform but he just not seem like the type.
Funny I was just saying that about Kevin Owens too on another video I kinda feel like Kevin is related to this guy 😂
Holy crap, he could have sued wwe, he could have been a millionaire
HEY MAN, THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!! VERY SURPRISING!!
This is the way it should always be: sit down and figure it out in peace. If only they can delete all those other videos about this thing, there must be a thousand videos about these two!
not hating but he is now The Grey Meanie
"Why the fuck is the Blue Meanie in first class!?" Daaaaaaamn lol. Poor Meanie.
Blue Meanie the Grey! JBL killed him but he's back!!!
Gray Meanie! Great interview, really enjoyed it.
What even happened? All I could tell was that he didn't give up his seat, and someone (not JBL) hit him on the back of the head at one show that made him bleed everywhere.
Jbl was hammered too! I remember through that whole ppv jbl had a beer in his hand
Seems like he’s fighting back tears in this interview.
JBL shouldn’t have bullied this guy.
I'm glad Meanie and Bradshaw talked and resolved things in the end. :)
IF I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET JBL THIS IS WHAT I'D DO:
On the Raw Is Owen special the day after Owen Hart was negligently killed by Vince McMahon's contracted riggers Bradshaw spoke sadly about how in the short time that he'd gotten to know Owen he saw just how special and great a person Owen Hart was - how he was a real man with the right priorities and sound morals etc etc.
The amount of stupid in this comment it unacceptable.
misterslats
They are guys grown men its what men do but today its not ok to b a man or to do stuff men do just a bunch of male apologist that feel bad for having balls getting bullied builds character it helps you realise the world is a tough place and you have to stand up for yourself or get fucked with
The fact that the veteran wrestlers felt entitled to first class seating over rookies or lower card guys and would get angry at them over it is embarrassing high school behaviour.
always rooted for the job squad as a kid especially meanie and that weird dance i thought they looked cool it was later on when i grew older and learned wrestling terms that they named the stable that because they were jobbers
9:04 "Who said you can blade?"
🤣🤣🤣
Listen I don't care about what anyone else thinks. If I get a first class ticket I'm taking it.
" you get the crooked finger " lmao I love the blue meanie
Blue Meanie is great
Blue Meanie looking damn nice with that silver fox look. Gotta be honest
Proof that I'm old: I totally understand the logic behind giving up a first class seat to a more established worker.
Right? You gotta pay your dues. Doesn't justify bullying, but I get it. I would have given my seat to Mick Foley as soon as he told me I fucked up.
There is no logic its just pricks being pricks
Or just let the guy sit in his seat that was offered to him lmfao
I ain’t giving up my seat just so a person with a high ego can be happy lol
It's a very petty environment, but It's an environment I've experienced before at work over the years. It's very cut throat in the work place, and it is sad.
Should have never took the heat from childish wrestlers having toddler fits over seats ,how stupid . The management should have done the right thing and went to their employees and apologized
"unfortunately, its what you're remembered for best" good for Hannibal
Harsh but better than not remembered at all haha
Wow...Bob Holly ACTUALLY stood up for a rookie?
Bob Holly disliked Bradshaw for thinking he could beat anyone in legit/shoot fight when facts said otherwise, Bob Holly was there when Steve Blackman humbled Bradshaw.
I don't know why people keep saying this, but Meanie wasn't a rookie. He was a ten year vet at the time of this incident.
How can people hate on this guy as a person
I think I'd get a lot of heat. Because I'm a first come first serve believer. I can see why you should cede your seat to a vet. And I would. But only if I respect you. Based on what I heard I don't respect JBL.
Should've got someone who didn't spend a majority of their career wearing daisy dukes to do the chairshot, might've actually done some damage and knocked some sense into JBL.
These clubhouse rules in the WWE are just weird.
I love the comments about how much people hate JBL for real, It proves he was such a good heel, that he is genuinely despised.
Shannon Cini JBL isn't really that different from his on screen personality.
He is a legit asshole 😂
JBL, I got two words for you...
Ahem...Stevie-freaking-chairshot!
I like wrestling, but their backstage politics are straight bs. Seriously, Blue Meanie didn't do anything wrong, yet he got heat😑
Yep
@@TheHannibalTV 👍🏿
Wow treating people this way because that got a sit in first class!? Wow and wwe has the balls to be at the for front on "stopping the bullying" campaign. Hypocrisy at its finest.
