Kinging- It Thinking about a 10 day visit to Western Cape over New Year 2020/2021 (if all this corona madness has vanished by then, obviously!!) What do you think the Aquila safari would be like then? Would there be less of a chance of seeing the big five? I've looked online but there are mixed answers (some say December's better, some say it's worse) so what do you think?
So happy to have been there before the pandemic 🤣

You saw Lion , Elephant and Rhino , not the big five ... there was no Buffalo nor Leopard in your video which would have completed the set !!

You got to do the drive from Gordans bay to bettys bay you'll love it !!! Away from the city nice day trip
The garden route is also fantastic but you'll need 3 weeks, or it will be too much of a blur.
That's horrible about breeding the lions just to be hunted, but that's the same as the meat industry :( We raise animals just to kill them after. So sad. Great video. I'm heading there next year, can't wait!!
The largest wild national park in South Africa 🇿🇦 isn't Kruger, but Kgalagadi aka "Kalahari" 😂. Like Aquila it is free of malaria. Kgalagadi is larger than Switzerland and is wedged between South Africa 🇿🇦, Botswana and Namibia. That's also where the lesser cats are: African wildcat, caracal, cheetah, also the big cats such as leopard and lion. Kgalagadi doesn't have elephant nor buffalo.
Aquila safari is great for a starter safari, but I hope that you guys still get to experience a proper safari in a proper game reserve like the Kruger park. The animals there are truely wild. I'd be glad to give you some suggestions. Love watching your videos. Going through all your old 'pre covid' videos 😊

Ever heard of Kgalagadi?? More than twice the size of Kruger, and the place to see the cats.

there are Iranian Zebras , they are not striped , they look the same as these but only the color is different and they live in big numbers,
we have the Asiatic Lion and Cheetah , bears , panthers , Hyenas but they are striped not spotted and smaller.
we have biggest ibexes .

Great video guys, really nice footage of the animals. You really did get up close and personal, especially with the lions. Hadn't heard about lions being bred especially for big game hunting: so glad these animals were rescued.

You two should get in touch with Kevin Richardson, he has a reserve in South Africa and he does so much to stop the hunting of all giant cats and he is awesome! He isn’t called the Lion whisperer for nothing! He has and is doing such fabulous work on species conservation!
