It is so rare that you can recognize a producers music immediately, like Olofs music is so unique, I always just loved it. This is also the case for a producer like lets say DJ Premier or Calibre but with Olof it is even more crazy as he did completely different things with different textures and rhythms, pop music or stuff for hessle audio and you can still immediately recognize his handwriting. On top of that it always sounds like something you never heard, so fresh. I dunno, just love his stuff.
So much amazing music this year and this track is the best one i keep coming back to! I respect the artistry and bro anything you put your hands on these days is fire and i hope to hear so much more if i am so lucky
I don't really get how Olof or even The Knife are not more well known by pepople around the world. Both his solo work and his duo with Karin are so high quality EDM... The textures, the colors in his music, the melodic and rythimic progressions are so fine. It's really frustrating going to a club these days and not listen to anything close to this in terms of quality and innovation. You rule Olof, please come to Brazil (or at least remix some tribal music of ours from Salvador-Bahia or the Amazon, we would eat it up and I'm sure you'd enjoy it)
