Still isn't right since most of the time the judge lowers the sentence or even just let's them go after assaulting and a lot of other things they should he charged for. Police work hard to catch them just for them to be released like nothing happend

it blows my mind that people like that last guy genuinely believe that since they werent successful in their theft, it isnt a theft. if i were a cop, id tell them this. if you go in to a bank, point a gun at the teller, and say 'this is a robbery', but then the security guard scares you & you run off, it doesnt magically negate it, and make it no longer a crime. your success in the crime doesnt dictate the crime, you initiating the crime does.
These criminals has more criminal history than McDonald's has sold cheese burgers.

In the U.K. when we scan an item it has to match the weight when we put it on the next part and we have people that work for the stores keeping an eye on everyone to make sure we don’t put stuff in bags before we checkout.
It used to like that in Australia, but it's changing. So I guess it makes it easier to steal. Just dumb. Bring back checkout operators!

I have already seen all of these! When I shop at Walmart, I always see at least 1 police SUV. Sometimes they use them as a deterrent cause if someone was really stealing, trust me, there would be like 3 police SUV'S. People are stupid to steal petty little shit, but sometimes I can understand if it's food and they are homeless. The homeless people for some reason never like to stay at a shelter where they get somewhere to sleep and eat and sometimes they will provide them with clothes cause people donate clothes and shoes etc. You can shoplift 50 times and never get caught, but I promise you, you will eventually get caught when you least suspect it!!!!
The homeless who refuse shelter help are mostly addicts. Can't bring drugs or alcohol into the shelter, so they choose to stay outside.
Maybe the lice and bed bugs are a deterrent.
People get raped, robbed and beat up at shelters which is why they don’t want to stay.

In defense of the lady who couldn't get her meds, the meds are probably needed to keep her from going nuts, so perhaps they should consider that. Of course, I have seen people act like that at my pharmacy because they couldn't get their insurance or doctor to refill pain meds, and man, do they ever go nuts.
For real like she could have adhd,or maybe a very like HORRIBLE sickness that could lead to cancer so I have no idea why they can’t just pay for the meds and send her home

It was the insurance company that wouldn't approve her meds, so it is beyond me why she would be screaming at the pharmacists, or anyone else working in the pharmacy. Unfortunately, she is not the only person to treat pharmacy workers that way. I just hope she can get some help because she certainly needs it.
