This series was so awesome. Interviews with old timers, climbers and rangers. I’m sure there is an endless well of epic stories among these legends. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story

I pressed play on the first episode to have a mildly funny “haha high climbers” story in the background while I worked. I was definitely not expecting a full on history lesson meets true crime meets climbing meets government conspiracies 4 part audio documentary. This succeeded both in keeping me on the edge of my seat for over 2 hours and getting me through a day and a half worth of my workload. Bravo! 👏🏻

Outstanding series of episodes-well edited with some amazing interviews with some of the participants. I just binge listened to all four parts of this story. My first trip to the Valley was that rainy spring of 1977 and I stayed in my shitty little tent in Camp 4. I vaguely remember some stories and rumors about all this but didn’t pay much attention to it… I was too focused on waiting for the skies to clear and climbing something and also wasn’t into weed. Now I wish I had paid closer attention and listened to the stories! Thanks for bringing it all to life-now I know what I missed!

I think i read about the plane crash some years ago in a magazine. What a story. You guys did a phenomenal job fleshing it out and giving it personality! 👏

I wish they had to pay the people that clean up after turned Everest into a rubbish dump. And the people that scrape their mashed bodies off the rocks
