LOVED this information. There are SO MANY apps out there that appear to be useful for RVers, but I’ve found many to be cumbersome to use, while tooling down the road. Actually “seeing” how you use your favorite apps is very helpful and the apps you’ve suggested are really great options. 3 of them are new to me, so MUCHAS GRACIAS!!

Wow...love IExit! We don't have our RV yet (working and saving for it) but we road trip quite a bit and this app is great! Thanks for the info, we didn't know this even existed. We have AllTrails and love it because it does give accessibility for each trail...important for those of us who have some issues. Thanks for all the info...one of the reasons I subscribed!

When we travel we often search for dog parks. It would be nice if the All Trails app would include that. I plan on checking out the apps you suggested.

Great video, just wish it had been out a week earlier before our trip up to Door County Wisconsin this weekend. It seems in their attempt to stay a quaint tourist area they have kept out chain stores and apparently the major cell providers. 😳 It never occurred to me to use my coverage? app to check if Wisconsin had cell phone coverage, so our campground had none, and we couldn’t research any things to do 😢 My Alltrails app was useless because I didn’t realize I needed to download the trail maps, assuming I could do it while there. Likewise Google couldn’t map anything since I hadn’t downloaded maps prior to leaving on our trip. Lesson learned, not to assume that it’s only remote western areas of the country that have limited cell phone coverage.

You should be using iExit truck for your rig. I’d be afraid to pull Into some of those regular restaurant parking lots. Happily I am already using most of these. Thanks for the info.

Could you please help with the gas apps problem I mentioned? They seem to be stuck on the PUC price, special pricing for trucks. Is there a workaround that you know of?

Thanks so much for the video on apps. I use all the apps you listed but iEXIT. I was not aware that the RV trip wizard and RV Life were the same. LAME! I'm a solo RV'er so I have an RV Garmen and then have my phone using google maps as a backup. It's much better to have RV Life displayed because it already knows my trip (RV Trip Wizard) and the size of my RV. I like the idea of iEXIT, but I feel that without a co-pilot, it's not safe to use while I'm driving. I love your videos.

I didnt know any of these apps. Just wanted to see whats up! Of course Im kind of a peranoid, so Im thinking they are tracking our every move with these apps, and now know our trips and habits! Thats probably why they are free. Still great info! Im just wierd.
Question. The other day. You had a Video about your Ryobi collection. My question do you have the Ryobi leaf blower and what voltage and
IExit has a trucker version also. May be more helpful when towing.

We love the All Trails App but it looks like your version has more capabilities than mine. Did you purchase the Pro? Also - I have been using Allstays App for all of my travel days and planning for rest stops, etc. I do have to pull up the map and follow along our route to find the stops. It has been awesome, but I downloaded the IExit app after watching this video because it looks a little more user friendly. Thanks for the info! I thought we knew about them all...Your videos are very informative and fun! Thanks for doing what you do - it really does help all of us full time RV’rs out.

We rather rent vehicles where ever we go and some campgrounds are no where near car rental facilities.
Thank you David! We do not know of any off-hand. That may still just be old-fashioned internet research ahead of time. Possibly the apps for the car rental companies may tell you if they are near where you are headed. We haven't really needed anything like that. Sorry!

What camera do you all use for your videos ?
I exit is hard to use when solo I have learned to stop at rest area and plan ahead. Wish there was something for when not on the interstate

This may be a bit of an odd question. But just curious. The channel has grown and I'm sure you guys make a few dollars through YT. How are you paid? Direct deposit, mailed checks?... Not just that but how do y'all keep up with daily mail, bills, letters, etc.. while on the road.
Noted that you started the video stating that alot of people viewing were not Subscribed. I have been subscribed for quite some time and noted that I was no longer subscribed? But I hit the subscribed button again. Might be something going on?

I have found gas buddy and other gas apps only give me the "PUC" price on diesel, so I dumped them. Do you have a fix or workaround for that?
Do you ever leave your dog in the RV? How comfortable are you leaving the dog chained to the RV(with water/food/shade of course) in an RV park if you do?
We do leave Carmen in the RV. We do not leave her chained outside when we are not there. That would be unsafe. When we leave her inside, we have enough battery and solar that we know she’ll be ok. We set the AC to a certain threshold, just it case it warms up. And we also have Arlo security cameras. One for inside to watch Carmen and one outside.
On the RV life app, how accurate are the drive times?🖖🏻👍🏻🙏🏻😘
We have found them to be more accurate than regular GPS, because they take your rig into account during the calculations.

For the TSD open road is it best to get a card or register your credit card? As far as the RV live I pay for Trip Wizard and I think RV life was no charge?

@@garlandmorris5994 So it's kind of harder to find but you will select the free trial, enter your name, address, email, and select the $49 annual plan. Then hit the button that says "continue to payment". On the next screen you will see "Annual $49 Subscription" then under that "Estimated Sales Tax" then in a smaller font you will see the words "I have a Coupon Code", click on those words and you will get to enter in the code GETAWAY25 (make sure it's all caps) and then click "apply" and you should be good to go!

Coverage? Is based on the cell carriers reports. Unfortunately, the carriers lie and you will not always have coverage. So, for me this app is useless
