Hello, Aerowanderer. Thank you for flying with us and for sharing your detailed feedback. We're very happy to know that our cabin crew provided you with excellent service. Your comments about the in-flight entertainment and meal are greatly appreciated. We're always working to improve our service, and your feedback will definitely help us make future flights even better. We're genuinely happy that you had a good overall experience. Looking forward to welcoming you on board again soon! ✈
Aerowanderer, I didn’t expect Philippine Airlines to really comment THAT fast (an hour after you uploaded this vid). I hope my crush replies that fast too.
@@balddudey321 Make that two of us. I’m quite impressed with their social media team. The comment they left is well termed & in point to my comments & feeling on flying with them😀

7:55 , the plane is a CASA C-295W owned by Philippine Air Force registered as 204. It sometimes visit Mactan-Cebu International Airport. The second busiest airport in the Philippines after NAIA. I saw this plane flying at 7000 feet due to my proximity to Mactan-Cebu International at just 30km away.
@@aerowandereroh ok, C295s are not quite common here actually, they are deemed as rare visitors since they are not seen everyday. Most visitors here at MCIA are C-130 Hercules planes. C295s are quite hard to spot here since they don't always point out their destination because of their military use.
Thanks for the great vid. In 1994 I was taking flying lessons at Boeing Field in Seattle at the time they began test flying the 1st 777-200 I believe. It was an exciting time. I had one on final on 32R and I was landing 14R. I believe it was it's second flight. Beautiful aircraft. I recently flew EVA air back to the US a couple months ago. It was an older 777 and I remember the seats not being as comfortable as past. That said, the last time I flew EVA air was 2020 on a 787 and noticed a measurable difference from the quality and service past. I guess EVA also paid a price for the CCP virus. EVA use to be rated in the top 5, but when I last looked it's no longer there.

Hey Aerowanderer! Another great video from you! Consider planespotting from Incheon International Airport yea. South Korea is definitely worth the visit 🇰🇷
i did fly this airline once going to Manila. it was the old A340-300 that had the small four engines. tbh I have only flown this airline twice in my life. one of which I might have forgot because I was young at that time.
3:05 Interesting Fact: that 777 planes can use also for the Domestic Operations to Cebu, Davao and General Santos has the long runways to land of the widebody aircrafts like Boeing 747-400, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A340-300, Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 777-300 ER. 6:23 And another interesting fact that 777-300 ER planes can use also for the Philippine Presidential flights of Philippine Airlines this includes RP-C7776/RP-C7777 since 2009 to Shanghai, China.
Thank you for writing in😀Ah yes, I’ve noticed PAL fly their A330 on scheduled domestic flights to General Santos from Manila. Hope to fly on them soon😀
Correction: the seats on this aircraft are the Safran Aura Enhanced seat, not the Recaro CL6510 seat found on their older 777s. - RP-C7772 to RP-C7777 have Recaro CL6510 seats in Business and Weber 5751 seats in Economy. IFE is Panasonic eX2 - RP-C7778, 7779 and 7782 have Safran Aura Enhanced seats in Business and Safran Z300 seats in Economy, all with Panasonic eX3 IFE - RP-C7783 (the ex-Garuda aircraft) has Stelia Solstys seats in Business and B/E Aerospace Spectrum seats in Economy, with Panasonic eX2 IFE.
I like your video. I flown PAL 4 times straight over the last 2 years from LAX to BKK. I’ll be flying it again in October. The only disadvantage to me is not being able to fly into my home city of Chiangmai non stop from Manila. I’ll be flying with my Thai wife in February of 2025 and she insists on flying into Chiangmai instead of Bangkok, so it will probably be either Korean Air or China Air.
Thank you for writing in & for watching the video🙏🏻 That’s fantastic. I believe all of them must have been on the B777 ? Back in the days, Thai used to fly to LA until 2015. I came across an article that said Thai is looking to resume flights to the US😀 Hope you have a fantastic set of flights & a good time. Take care🙏🏻
Everyone raves about the amazing GE90. It’s a very loud unpleasant engine on the 777. The A350 is such a more refined and quiet plane and doesn’t succumb to the brutal ten abreast very tight seating so prevalent in the Boeing. I always pick the Airbus over any Boeing except the 787 which is a pleasant plane.
I guess it comes to choice & preference. Like you said, the A350s are much more quiet as compared the B777 but I feel the GE90 gives you the feel of the aircraft. Especially during start up. Having said that; I believe PAL’s A350-1000 will be equipped with a ten abreast configuration
I encourage PAL to install Premium Economy seats so that in case they order the 777X (-9 variant) they knew what would be the cabin design. Edit : @ 4:30 The new Boeing 777-300ER Business Class seats (RP-C7778 to RP-C7782) are manufactured by Safran Aerospace. The older ones are manufactured by Recaro.
Thank you for watching🙏🏻Yes. We were two of us flying. Almost just under the allowance of total 50 kilos. 25 each. With how strict they are, I wouldn’t be able to comment on that as our checked bigs was under the allowance
I was wondering, what's a 777-ER (extended range) doing with a MNL-BKK run? This plane can easily cross the Pacific or be in Europe nonstop - and here it is, doing small hop flights. It might as well be doing inter-island flights.
It's Bonjour Paris in December, as Air France 🇫🇷 said that they are returning to the Philippines and start their direct nonstop flights to Manila from their hub at Paris Charles De Gaulle, it will be easier for European visitors, business people and Filipinos based in Europe coming to the Philippines and for us Schengen Visa holders who regularly travel to Europe 🇪🇺.
