Am8 has been killing it. I was truly blown away by their Flix ll Only not pick would be I wish they gave just like 2 mm more access to the hole in the blade. Ended up cracking my middle finger nail from fidgeting with the knife bc I only have enough room for your nail and not the meat of your finger tip. Def an easy fi. For them, bc everything else is out of this world fantastic and mind blowing value. You get S90V, micro milled titanium with a carbon fiber mixed w either aluminum or copper. Fantastic detent, like chefs kiss and all that for under $200 !! Best value I’ve found in year
The bugout has pretty much been made obsolete. The hogue deka v2 in magnacut was the final nail in that coffin. Original goat scales on the deka just puts the bugout deeper than 6 feet under
I received my Morad about thee days ago and I can concur that it is ab-so-lutely an awesome knife. The front flipper is soo satisfying. No other deployment methods allow you to deploy a knife with as much force as a good front flipper :)
Jerad, thanks for the video! What is the new model coming out and about when is it coming? I’ve seen the Flix 2 and hate that they shrunk the blade size, I’m not even sure if that’s considered new or not.
Greetings! My Gladiator 2 is one of my favorites. This is more refined, and a tad thinner, but looks of same quality. Ameight rox! I'm a thumbstud lover, but the fuller flick is lower profile. Nice review U!
The lockbar cut-out sure looks like a pocket shredder, would like to see it on the inside of the lockbar for smooth in & out of pocket & a cleaner look. would also like some extended jimping for thumb placement when choking up on the choil since i do like functional jimping. also agree with pocket clip clearance. they just need a 1/16 or less spacer. definitely sexy profile.
Would love to see a video with the best liner/frame locks with the best drop shut action (like one with under $100 and over $100 for example). You see so many button lock videos would be nice but o have something different in a countdown video
Jerad, is the "other knife" from Ameight the Flix II? I was chomping at the bit to buy that one of the AM8 site as it looks like they fixed a lot of the issues with the original but seeing this one gives me pause.... review coming any time soon :)?
unpopular opinion: wish it had a deep carry wire pocket clip. Then this would be a 10/10 in my book. The clip on the PMP user II is fantastic! I’ll take this kind of clip over any other every time. *still going to buy it though. Haha
I think the inlay just feels a bit small and weird. Liner lock is always better than a frame look. The clip should be a bit deeper too. And I would love a bit more of a fuller or how about a fuller on one side and thumb stud on the other?
Because a back flipper gets in the way of reverse cuts and choke up grips, front flippers tend to be more comfortable and more ergonomic and also fun to deploy
I think squeezing a tiny patch of inlay on the lock side would be gratuitous The nice, fine milling Miguron does on both sides, together with the lock and the clip is plenty decorative enough! There IS such a thing as too busy, something most Italian makers seem to know about (there are exceptions).
Heavy by a smidgen I never heard of such a thing, I used to carry a tool pouch all day so a knife being to heavy just doesn't make sense to me personally, maybe if it was solid copper and massive but as far as a knife this size its in the range of any other titanium knife of its size, what you are looking for is a liner lock or something in aluminum lucky there's so many options out there for everyone
It's a personal thing. But imo it's a bit heavy. But for context, the TRM Neutron 2 is 2.4 ounces, Waypoint is 2.9 ounces, Piet is 2.45 ounces, the Bugout is 1.9 ounces, Civivi Altus is 3.02 ounces, Keen Mini is 2.8 ounces. Even the recent Kizer Brat is 3.6 ounces. Berg Blades Sweeney is at 3.39 ounces. But this is actually much heavier than all of these. Imo just a smidge heavy but I'm not a person who carries a tool pouch all day. @@NeevesKnives
@Dracomies yeah like I said liner locks are usually lighter than framelocks and many of those are just smaller knives ofcourse I could name a thousand lighter knives, but I could also name a ton of heavier knives, as far as the trm knife that weight is for a liner in g10 I'm pretty sure the titanium one is labeled 2.5 oz but is actually heavier they are just taking the same weight, I know the shadow in g10 us much lighter than the titanium version. And the quiet carry ofcourse is lighter it's much smaller if it was a framelock with similar size like some of the other quiet carry knives it would be similar weight. But hey to each their own I'm glad you can find plenty of knives that do fit your preferences
It’s A Nice knife for sure but with a price tag of $160.00 (Amazon) I don’t think it’s something I’ll be paying for any time soon. My so called budget blades work just as well ( for my needs) as these over priced , look at me Show off blades. 😉
I love most things Miguron does. Even the oddball designs are still giving you premium materials and good looks for really good prices. We all know their budget knives are worth every penny and their premium models seem to fit the same mold. This knife at 160 seem like an insane deal and this might be the model I get as my first premium Miguron. Excellent choice Jerad thanks for the video!
Miguron is killing it and their prices are chefs 💋.

Just wish they would provide a none carbon inlay option
I learn more here than anywhere. In fact, you could add all the info from every other channel and you still beat them all. I appreciate you.
I’ve been so impressed with Miguron’s budget models I’ve been really curious how their premium models stack up against them. They’re soooo good!
The CF killed that right off the bat
I just ordered one of these yesterday and I'm so excited for it to get here! I think I may add some thumbstuds just to add another deployment option.
It's cheaper than a Bug Out! 😂 Even with that micro milling! That's crazy.
There are LOTS of better made knives than the Bugout that cost less than the Bugout 😂. Benchmade is a joke.
The bugout has pretty much been made obsolete. The hogue deka v2 in magnacut was the final nail in that coffin. Original goat scales on the deka just puts the bugout deeper than 6 feet under
The microtech msi for $175 murders the Bugout.
Haha what is a bugout sounds like something overpriced and not worth it!
God I love that blade shape !! The fuller the grid ooh ... hopefully itll be in stock..
Underrated and understated. It's pound for pound the best money you can spend on a knife right now.
For less than the price of a bugout. Miguron can't miss lately.
Ohhhh shit! Front Flipper? In the cart it goes! 🔥💪 Thank you bro! This one is a def buy!
Damn cool looking knife with premium materials at a great price. Hope other companies are watching this... Thanks Jerad.
I received my Morad about thee days ago and I can concur that it is ab-so-lutely an awesome knife. The front flipper is soo satisfying. No other deployment methods allow you to deploy a knife with as much force as a good front flipper :)
Miguron definitely has my attention.
I have the original Morad. One of the best looking knives imo.
I bought my first am8 folder, the Gladiator. I can't say enough good things about it.
Perfect except the front flipper. Thanks Neeves.
Miguron is definitely one to watch. I LOVE my Pagos 2 in full Ti!
I Agree that is a Nice blade love the titanium.
Milling and jimping look nice. Don't care for the black on it. Wouldn't carry one, but not bad.
Jerad, thanks for the video! What is the new model coming out and about when is it coming? I’ve seen the Flix 2 and hate that they shrunk the blade size, I’m not even sure if that’s considered new or not.
that's a nice price for S90V. similar to the Nightshade Elmax price.
Nice, I haven't bought anything from them yet. Waiting on one that just really calls my name.😂

What a beautiful blade 👍
I like the micro milling
Beautiful knife!
Good stuff as always, J-Rad!
👊🏻

Looks like a larger version of the Dawn by TW Price.
Good looking knife
kind of reminds me of civivi elementum button lock, just by shape.
Looks like the 2.0 of the Miguron Morad
Beautiful
Handsome knife ❤
They need a better logo. Great blade shape.
Thanks, Jerad! 👊
Hey J what do you think of the am8 gladiator 2?
It’s good I like the Felix 2 way more
@@NeevesKnives Thanks for the quick response. I'll go check that one out.
Beautiful knife all-around but not for lefties. They should offer a left handed version.
the inlay kills it for me but it looks very nice otherwise...
Nooooooooooooooooo!! Heavy stonewash is the best!!! :D
What's with the front flipper? Why would you want that over a back flipper?
Because a back flipper gets in the way of reverse cuts and choke up grips, front flippers tend to be more comfortable and more ergonomic and also fun to deploy

Someone somewhere said “front flippers … the answer to a problem that didn’t exist”. If it were anything but a front flipper, I would be all over it!
Not having that stupid flipper sticking out is pretty great.
BANG!!! 😊
I recently got a Mocenary MK-06. It's a small knife but I love it. You should check it out 😄
This or the kizer militaw?
Militaw, the best from Miguron is the flix 2
@@NeevesKnives Ok. How about the militaw vs flix 2. Thanks for the reply. Imo you have the best knife channel
would love it without the inlay but thats just me
Beautiful knife but it's a smidgen too heavy for an EDC knife imo. Love the look of it for sure though.

How is the other one in s90v 250 and this one is 150?
Maybe someone told them if they adjusted their prices they would see better sales

Would LOVE to see This in TANTO!!
A lot of front flippers lately..
Not gonna lie… not my favorite deployment.. looks nice tho
Shallow carry clip is a deal breaker.
Change the clip! Or are you one of them people that can’t actually use your hands for doing anything but hit the letters on a keyboard?
I love most things Miguron does. Even the oddball designs are still giving you premium materials and good looks for really good prices. We all know their budget knives are worth every penny and their premium models seem to fit the same mold.

Is it good if its 59 or even 58? Probably not.
Apparently 59 to 60 is the ideal range for S90 so 58 might not be the most ideal but it’s probably fine
Made in China
Frist
Why do people do this?
Doesn’t get great reviews that’s for sure!
