The School of Education at the University of Leicester has over 60 years’ experience in teacher training, and works in partnership with over 200 schools across the region - so we know what it takes to make great teachers.
Schools know this too. In our latest inspection, Ofsted noted that trainees from Leicester are “greatly prized by local and regional schools”. Last year, over 96% of our trainees went on to a teaching post.
