Trying to Solve TMNT's Time Travel Mess

Renet Tilley is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's resident time traveller, showing up in numerous iterations of the show, and each time she does she can be a vastly different age. Add in the fact that its revealed that every version of Renet we have ever seen are all one and the same, and this becomes super complicated. In this video I try to map out all of Renet's appearances across every version of the TMNT to present the chronological order of all her appearances

Yeah the time travel element of TMNT as always been contentious. With the Mirage continuity saying the Foot Clan only exists because Raphael time travel back and accidentally made it even though that's a paradox in 2012 Splinter only survived because the turtles went back and saved him which is a paradox and in IDW the Turtles only reincarnated and got mutated because of Donnie and Venus time traveling which is a paradox. So I'm not the biggest fan up when they do stuff like this but I have head Cannoned an explanation in my head that makes it make sense so I'm able to still enjoy the story

Okay now that I've seen the whole video I'm starting to believe the theory a little more but until it's confirmed by the creators I'm not taking it but the attention to details with the different costumes in different points in different continuities is very convincing

I've heard that theory about all of her being the same I think that's only true for Mirage and IDW I mean does that mean it's the same savanti Romero in every iteration as well or is it a different him but it's always the same her? that doesn't make sense to me. In 2003 and 2012, they partially adapted the story from Mirage, so wouldn't she point out that she's already lived this a couple of times? I like the idea of it being the same one every universe but I don't think it pans out. Now cuddly the cowlick. That is the same one each Universe because he's some kind of demigod or something who can travel through the Multiverse and with his powers that probably explains why he looks slightly different each time he shows up because he can shapeshift I think cuddly is the true one and only being. You should do a video on him
