Andy - I believe that with the CHE/TOT fixture going into 35, that does open the door slightly for CHE/BHA going into 36 vs. 37. Not positive - but something to keep in mind if so.
Been keeping Mykolenko for large parts of the season - great enabler plus it never hurts to bench him but you can always field him when other cheap defenders have difficult fixtures or you have to deal with injuries because he constantly plays
I’m going for Son because he’s at home. Idk. Forest have been decent recently too.
Captains!! First & foremost, transfer Salah, Son, Palmer & Haaland into your team for insurance. Then consider fixtures (Palmer or Son), recent form (Palmer or Son) or seasonal stats (Son, Palmer or Salah). I’d exclude Haaland from the mix, then captain Son or Palmer ⚽️
I was debating who to start palmer or garnacho for last week, even tho the obvious is palmer but the United fan in me told me to go garnacho but benched him. But saka not playing ended up so good for me cause got the 15 points for garnacho subbed on and the 20 for palmer. Lesson we learned? Don’t underestimate any of these up and coming youngsters
What gk to transfer in for a 2 week punt? Raya, Pickford, Sa or are there better options?
Would you Bench boost kelleher, Watkins (50/50 if he plays) zouma, ait nori already wildcard and made my transfer this week ?
With Saka, if you don't already own Foden, it might make sense to swap Saka for Foden for the next 2 weeks (City have CRY away + LUT home) then back to Saka for DGW34 (or Øde or Havertz if Saka is still not fit).
Only if Saka is out for me.
You I am also thinking of doing it even if no certainty on saka. As FHing in 34 and wildcard in 35. Glad not alone on this 😅
@@LetsTalkFPL Team dependent as always of course, but that's why I said "might make sense." 😉 I've been really good about being patient with my moves all season but pulled the trigger on Saka to Foden earlier today when I saw Saka's price likely to drop and Foden's likely to increase. Probably should've just waited to see if we get any more info ahead of the deadline, especially since City are playing the early game, but oh well, what's done is done so all I can do now is hope for the best. 🤞
That screws my plan to bb36 and triple captain 37.
Will there a montage this season of all the times Andy told us he was sure of something and then the opposite happens during the gameweek?
What are peoples thoughts on playing three of Gabriel, Saliba, Van Dijk, Zabarnyi or Branthwaite?
Nouri wasn’t gettin returns before playing higher up though. Why consider him if he’s not going to be in an attacking position?

The only choice I'd have to make is whether I move for foden or richarlison ahead of 35. I'm planning on selling saka gw33 and Salah 35

I have both and both will be staying in the XI for now as both are good potential for clean sheets for a few out of the next matches and also both basically the main target for set pieces into the box

Son. Salah has hurt me too much previously and Palmer will probably end up with a quiet game. Probably equals hopefully.
I've just removed the armband from Son to Salah. What a headache this week.
My only real question is do we start captaining Palmer? Feels weird!
Thanks for answering my question (two week punts). Having looked at that I'm definitely rolling and do 1 or 2 next week instead (e.g. Pedro v Burnley, maybe a Utd player v Bournemouth).
Thoughts on who to start: Ait-Nouri or Van Dijk?
Whichever one doesn't start will be first bench.
Van Dijk for goal threat idk, United aren’t great at defending set pieces
Even as a United fan, it has to be van dijk the potential for c/s and goal threat is better than nearly any CB other than the arsenal boys maybe ..
Recommend Son or Palmer?
Feels like captaincy against Sheffield United fixture has been a big let down this season.
Salah is out of form, but historically hauls against Utd, even at OT.
Son will play as the 9 at home against Forest, but Forest are fighting relegation and looked good against Fulham.
It's a tough call this week 🤷🏻♂️
This is exactly my issue and thought process. My current belief is going with the most in-form player, and that's currently Palmer... But Chelsea this season have been woeful against lower opposition (low blocks).

problem is the players are tired (all players look visibly exhausted!) so rotation at 34? Salah 59 minutes is a big shock
Second option for me. Even tho Spurs and Chelsea's double aren't great
United have been so poor, I have my wc and bb. Was gonna bb in 37 but those teams are not great that double. Might bb in 34 instead.
At this point having any city player is a risk, even with their great run of fixtures cause you can guarantee pep will not have the same XI more than twice in a row from now till the end in my opinion. Foden probably the only nailed player

Cunha not confirmed to return yet? Nouri looks very attacking for wolves I'd go for him with the fixtures that wolves have
