482 - My Let's Go Pikachu Full Odds Badge Quest "Movie"

- Here's a fun little project I worked on where I wanted to do a badge quest for Let's Go but have all the shiny hunts contained in one video!! There's a lot more gameplay here than "the experience" that I had in my other Pokemon gameplay movies because this wasn't a blind run, and there wasn't as much new stuff to really ponder (because it's just Kanto again) while taking this on, but I hope you still enjoy nonetheless!! Expect something like the X/Sun movie when Sword and Shield release.

man i love your videos so much and i have no idea why but they just hit me! like it just is a lot more "real" or raw than a lot of lets plays or other gaming videos i guess, its just not overproduced and you shwo your daily life as you play the game and try to do the ridiculous challenges. and the time frame of the videos are often days or weeks so you get the feeling of time passing and it's incredibly satisfying to watch

Meltan is easy with pokemon go. No flex dude he doesnt even count for the pokedex

I was on my fourth badge of Let's Go Eevee and I decided to replace each member of my team with a shiny, very proud of that team
I laughed way to hard at the start when the Eevee fell off his head and screamed and I have no idea why I find it so funny

I really like that you take your time with things, probably what makes your videos so enjoyable. You didn't force yourself to hunt, you did it when you felt like it and honestly it makes a difference. If you forced yourself to get this out by a certain time I don't think it would've been as enjoyable. Looking forward to more movies!! (hopefully SwSh)

LOL I guess I totally missed that
I really enjoy right at the beginning how you said hunt however you enjoy most. Without the catch streaks and shiny charms, I may never have found a shiny in a mainline game (which I know it's debatable whether Let's Go counts as mainline.) I have never seen a shiny in a game before Let's Go, just never been that lucky. So, now I don't feel bad having the shiny charm on my Pokemon Y to hunt with because I know that there are probably other full odds hunters like you that feel the same.
And I am so jealous of the shiny Oddish. I spent hours trying to get one with a 31 streak and the shiny charm. I think I ended up with shiny Psyduck at the end of that hunt.
I can assure you the vast majority of full odds hunters feel that way!! I think the most important part is that we all enjoy finding shinies!

Level grinding in Let’s Go **shudders**
UMICL I completely ignored grinding and had so much luck like I was at most a dozen (at the least ~6) levels below some of the weakest. My Victreebell was my best ‘mon when I used sleep powder and mega drain together

Absol. having a catch combo of 11 or 31 doesent increase ur shiny odds. but whenever u catch a pokemon and add to the catch combo. it increases the next wild pokemons shiny odds. But only that one pokemon. everything after that will be base odds. Unless you catch another pokemon. so you have to keep catching pokemon to keep the boosted odds active. This is also why people go so many times over the "shiny odds" when shiny hunting in this game. they arent actually but its because of this mechanic
