Mad respect for Ella Toone but have to say as much as the other player locking legs with her the take-down leading to the apparent locking which led to the pushing face was on Ella as obviously was the push later so she did deserve the red & can only blame herself for any repercussions to the team that might have come from it in the game or going forward in the season. Fortunately her team held out to win & didn't seem to lose any real ground because of it or being a player down.

The red card was rescinded after Marc Skinner appealed. And the Tottenham player was given a 2 match ban
