Was catching up on your vids. I am excited for this series as a long time organizer I feel that I still have much I could learn. One thing I didn't catch though is will you touch on how to get event sponsors. Let's say I am organizing a Mother's day show and I am wanting to do up 100 grab bags. How do I approach business to sponsor the grab bags? Should there be a cost to a business if they are not a vendor at the show. Or let's say I am doing a fundraiser for a group is there a good way to approach for sponsors to help say cover the Venue fee, advertising ect... sorry I know it's long winded and I hope you understand the question. I hope you cover sponsorships in one of the videos in the series. Thanks Laurie
Yep - I gotcha. We used to do the giveaway bags at our events for the first 100 shoppers. Hey - can you send me an email at howtocraftfair@gmail.com ? When I get a new member, I don't get any access to contact info for channel members, and so I don't have any way to reach out. All I can see is their UA-cam handle, but no contact info. I'll be able to replay back to your email with some of your membership perks :) Thanks!!

This is amazing! I have only just started vending (two months now), but I have always loved organizing and event planning so I am very excited to study from this series and maybe host my own show some day!
I hope you will inspire more high school groups to undertake a craft show for their band or choir group. I’m sure it’s a ton of work but seems like more fun and profit than selling stuff.
Thank you so much! Yes - it can be a really fulfilling career! I traveled all over the country during my craft fair organizing years because I wasn’t tied to a 9-5. Lots of good times at shows and in between them too!
I’ve been binge watching for the last three days, I really enjoyed your input. Perhaps in your episode for vendor applications, could you cover a “Juried Show” section… something like asking potential candidates for pictures of their crafts. This would allow the organizer the opportunity to place each vendor in an appropriate booth so that you don’t end up with 3 jewelry vendors in the same row. Or… If you have several jewelers maybe put them in one section if the venue is large enough. (Sorry, it sounds more like I’m telling you what to do than asking a question, I hope it makes sense to you)
That definitely makes sense. The deeper into this series we go, the more details we start diving into and I’ll touch on the “selection process” in a few different spots. I appreciate you commenting because it helps me to know what’s important to cover during the series! 😃
