I appreciate Sam’s dad’s rec on never retiring. I understand everyone has different things going on, but in my dad’s situation I feel like he might’ve been less depressed and maybe got to enjoy a longer life if he had a cute little job a while longer. I feel like I’m always searching for time to rest, but maybe I should appreciate how fulfilled I feel. Thanks for sharing that, Sam.

My dad is the same way! He's been retired for years now, but he's kept busy by working on their new home. He even started going back to work for an old friend since his old company started a place near where we moved. He was some sort of team leader i believe, so they've been begging him to help out. He only goes a couple days a week, every other week, and it's only a few months at a time contract wise. He keeps going back though because he's pretty much finished all his home projects and hates having a lot of unplanned free time like that.

First off really appreciate as a viewer seeing a podcast with great quality video. A lot of people just focus on audio which is obviously important. But I personally enjoy watching podcasts as I do some work or before bed. So A++ on quality guys!
Second I’ve been watching Sam and Colby since vine, and it’s unreal how far they’ve come. A huge part of it is as a viewer seeing genuine friendship like they have m, and seeing it grow over the years. So I was pumped to see this come a crossed my recommended videos. Have been waiting for them to get in more podcasts especially after the past Hell Week “Conjuring series”. So I came for Sam and Colby, subscribed for the quality of the podcast.

Side note. I'm Sam's dad, apparently. I've always felt the same way. Every decade that goes by is the best time. And a side note, your interests and the things you love don't need to change just because you aged. I'm 51, I'm still a gamer, I travel, I party, I work, I go to the gym, and I still find downtime. It's manageable. You don't ever need to give up anything up or grow out of anything you don't want to. Getting old is a fallacy, boys. It doesn't exist. Live it up!

@@justamood4050 yeah I had seen the video…doesn’t prove anything. It wasn’t a controlled environment (why the upstairs of a barn?) the people recording and witnessing should’ve been a 3rd party. Someone that didn’t know them.
They needed to consider all the elements to prove their legitimacy. They didn’t. They just wanted to put something up just so they could say “oh we were barefoot and see we can’t please everyone- we’re not going to do it again”
Why wait 5-6 months after the Sam and Colby videos? They had opportunities to prove themselves but there was always resistance. The statement from Jacquelyn didn’t help them at all either.
They laugh at observations made by debunkers which is disrespectful because the majority of them ARE believers of the paranormal. Being a debunker isn’t equal to being a “hater”. It’s healthy to not blindly believe and want to ask questions.
If C&S were legit, they would’ve had no issues proving themselves at any given moment.

But i participated in some of the none worker meetings and training camps, and everyone allways says it is so nice u need to do nothing... i can tell u it is not, u get bored quick unless u have super good hobby/friends and the meetings u get to go, u get super anxious and feel sick about cause u are worried. Also we have a saying, ur top floor is falling on ur head, due to u go shopping 2 times a week and not leave house otherwise... i would argue to not have work can be the hardest job in the world!^^

It is so wild, I just found this podcast, but about a month ago I had come to the same conclusion that, if the afterlife and god were definitively proven life would cease to have meaning. And it was so re-affirming to hear you guys say it, especially since I spend a lot of time looking at the supernatural and spirituality as a whole. Love it.
I also think that the start and the end of the universe are the exact same. And every life, every person in between, is the same soul, living through different experiences, and then they move on to the next 'stage' like Colby was saying. I never heard of the egg theory until now but that's a lot like what I believe.

Awesome pod cast! Normally I don't watch pod cast with Sam and Colby. I am a huge fan of theirs and the pod cast always seems to be the same thing. It shows you guys are friends with them, the conversation showed it. I got to see the very human side of them that i thought was there, not their "promo" personalities. Thanks for a really good show!

in the discussion about dreams, i remember a theory (i think from the marvel universe) where our dream state is actually us watching ourselves in alternate dimension. So what we experience while we dream is what another version of us is experiencing... so if we experience death then it is that alternate self dying

  • @bihejviorizam

I just had to say this - I too get the ''feeling'' of a dark red color when I die in my dreams! That's exactly how I've been describing it to my friends. I die often in dreams, and I ''dream often'' (more like remember them all the time, every single day when I wake up) and I think it's just our brain not knowing how to further continue with the plot of the dream. It's like warm panic, you can't escape it and it usually switches to another plot of another dream or you wake up.

  • @mariah2855
    @mariah2855 2 місяці тому +1

I have passed in dreams before, and I've said this for as long as i can remember. When I passed in the dreams i felt the physical pain and I would subconsciously not be able to do anything about it. I would think that it was real not knowing it was a dream, and I remember multiple times that I thought I would never get to live again. And the terrifying thing about some of these dreams that happened when I was more on the younger side, I would wake up and still feel the pain in whatever part of my body was impacted. There were also a couple scenarios where I woke up from a dream with physical pain and looked at the body part that was injured and I noticed that there would be red marks or bruises or sometimes even scratches. Years after that last experience, now looking back, I still have no idea what happened to my body while my subconscious was somewhere else. Something that really freaked me out was I would feel a type of pain that I'd never felt before. I have thought about maybe demonic relations, maybe I was tossing and turning in my sleep, or whatever was happening, but I will never forget the feeling of laying in a blackness feeling that immense pain thinking that it was all over.

i used to have a theory that you live a full lifetime, if you die you get transported into another timeline or sonething of the sort (i was super young) so your timelines people mourn you, but you go on living but could maybe just have a very confused recollection like somethings weird / missing. could turn to be “a dream”

Around the hour and a half mark they talk about recording the sound inside the headset when doing the Estes method. The Boys have already done that. They had a series where they reacted to all the Sam and Colby conjuring series and they said that would be a good idea and they ended up doing it in their next video. The lighthouse video which happens to be the same lighthouse Sam and Colby were at when Colby realized something wasn’t right and had gone to the doctor and found out about his cancer.

I'm pretty sure it's really rare to dream of dying, so the fact that 3 out of 4 of you have had a dream of that nature is so wild. Also, having any feelings/consciousness after dying in your dream is super SUPER wild. Fascinating. I love talking about dreams!!!

I did not know they did such crazy silly things back then on vine. 😅😂 what a great learning lesson. I'm glad they never broke and always had the drive to pivot and keep going forward. Really inspiring young men learning things the hard way in life isn't fun but they learned and made something better from it. Really enjoy their content and great interview. 😊

They are so lucky to have had such support. My parents were quick to discourage me (You can't do that, you will never get hired, that is a pipe dream) and I received ZERO help from friends. My mother even called my flight school to tell them not to solo me as I was incompetent (I soloed anyway, never felt so accomplished). I have done everything on my own paying out of pocket from becoming a commercial pilot, to managing a wholesale distribution warehouse, to being a property insurance claims adjuster. Now people come to me for help and the answer is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I've died in my dreams. Four times, if I remember right. It's always a terrible, and violent death. I feel the pain, my blood, and my last thoughts racing in my mind. Everything goes blank, no color, no physical feeling at all, and it often feels like 10-20 seconds before my consciousness transfers back into my body and I "wake up." It's interesting to hear other peoples experiences with death in dreams.

I paused at around 1 hrs. 34 mins. because I think the host doesn't understand that they do the Estes with noise canceling headphones on AND that, at times, SNC use the spirit box out loud rather in an Estes Method. With the Estes, part of what makes that communication really clear sometimes comes from the abilities of the person who is under (listening with noise canceling headphones while blindfolded). Anyone can do it, but with more practice, people can become better at that communication. My dad has asked about if they can record the spirit box from an Estes method, too, but there is definitely more at play. And you can listen to a spirit box out loud the same as the person under does.
