I love how they add "more detail" To the face, wrinkly, more paint etc. Really helps with the blank stare most legends has. Perfect Hulk personally, big fan of Buscema art.
Something I mentioned in another review of this figure: the shading and highlights appear meant for natural/warm lighting and light coming down on the figure. In hand the shading comes across MUCH more organically and the front torso is highlighted beautifully while contrasting and bring equal attention to a VERY monstrous visage. Well done, Hasbro!

Im stoked about the new head sculpts they put me in mind of them retro comics, and the skin tone looks awesome,I think it’s a great version of the Hulk and in my opinion a more better version than the 80th anniversary Hulk.
This hulk looks cool but man that mandroid head really didn’t need to be there lol. I hope one day they figure out a way to give this buck a butterfly joint that works both ways so he can do a thunderclap
That gama dio effect piece is really nice. Hopefully that trend continues
I'm really starting to warm to this Hulk. I recently watched "Dan Who Reviews" take on this and commented that the lower lips look like he's got a cucumber stuck to his face, but he's looking netter and better.
It has a real 1970's vibe to it. Reminds me of some of Sal Buscema's art.
I have the 80th anniversary, Rulk and SDCC Hulk with the pipe. All look great. I don't meed this bit would love a Professor Hulk (and Pantheon figs), and a Norman Osborne purple Hulk. Like the Black Series Clone Troopers if they keep repainting these, then I'm enticed.🙂🙂🙂
Definitely a Buscema Hulk, big fan of his style, also great "sequel" To the Face Off Hulk. Lips ain't bad either in hand, promotional image made his lips too dark lol typical Hasbro
I love the new heads personally. It reminds me of his design in rhe Earths Mightiest Heroes cartoon!
This is what pisses me off when the team plays dumb "WhAT doEs aN ACceSsoRY PaCk MEan?" This! Right here! That bad ass smash effect! All the webs they toss in with the gamerverse Spider-Men! Guns! They just want to make us buy figures of characters we already have to get the cool accessories. They know what they're doing.
The head sculpts along with the color of green are the reasons I want this figure. The heads look very 70's.
It's a nice Hulk... but I'm set for Hulks.

Thank you for the great review… now that I’m seeing these reviews, I’ve been tempted to order a 2nd one to keep on the card; I am REALLY liking this Hulk. Love the head sculpts and I personally think the paint apps make the details pop on this figure better than any of the others so far.
Use the very first Toybiz incredible Hulk head for this figure and see if it matches up
Forgot about the maestro. 7 hulk's with the 80 year body. I love it, hulks my favorite character anyway, but would've loved to see an alex Ross inspired version of the hulk. Like the grey headed hulk but green. Oh well there's always custom figures. Great review. Got captain America, i missed out on the 80 year alex ross inspired cap, but the lighter blue is kinda growing on me. Hope theres a red suited daredevil in series 2, and spiderman. Yes another spiderman. An annihilus 20 year figure would be amazing.

The far as i i know. Its the 7th figure , SDCC,2 pack 80the anniv.,gray hulk,red hulk,maestro,compound hulk and now the 20th anniv. Of marvel legends hulk :)
....and Maestro! That figure uses the same body mold. I pre-ordered this figure since I missed out on all the previous others. I do prefer the 80th Anniversary head sculpt but the one on this figure is a well come addition!
Yup, forgot about Maestro! I never picked up that figure though because I was hoping for a more Classic Maestro look & not just an older Hulk with a necklace & bracers lol.
@Banksy Mane I agree, Maestro needed that ToyBiz look at least! I picked him up regardless just because of the Hulk body mold and evetually get a custom Hulk head sculpt. But this Hulk will do! This review helped convince me! Lol
Don't forget the Maestro Hulk. He has the same body. As for someone who hasn't got a Marvel Legends Hulk, this will be my first one and it looks best in my opinion
Not gonna lie, it looks like The Hulk was wearing a Tshirt and got tanned except on his torso. Torso looks like it's about to project some gamma radiation lol
I love these head sculpts. I think the off color green head scan to skin, is suppose to pay homage to the Toybiz series 1 Hulk. Who also had a two tone skin tone.

The green skin tone is kind of reminds me of SDCC Hulk

Great review! Never realized the head sculpt was such a darker shade of green compared to the rest of the body. May end up swapping the SDCC Hulk head with one of these.
I had the same idea when I saw the teaser, hopefully it does match, cause it does seem like both this hulk and the sdcc hulk share the same shade of green
Remember that figures usually end up looking different in-person than on camera. I have a feeling it'll look more uniform in-hand.
It blends tho, they add darker shade on the neck, in turn make it nicely transitioned to a lighter green of the rest of the body. At least judging by the fig itself on my hand.
From the retro Spider-Man wave I just picked up shocker he’s a good figure pick him up
Even though the two head sculpts are not ''perfect'', I still might pick him up because I don't have a Hulk that is awesome like the 80 years 2 pack Hulk which is still the best Hulk, As always, love your honest opinions.

This was a good review, I was really looking forward to seeing this one about the Hulk. And you're right about the head sculpts, I don't like them much either. As neat as this figure is, it's going to have to be a pass for me. I'm trying to budget my spending and there's still so much more Marvel Legends coming out this year and I just can't collect them all. 😢

I just got the marvel select hulk. Almost canceled this version. Kept it… so we shall see them together.
Got mine pre ordered on BBTS and this will be my first and only Hulk figure, newer collector so I missed out on the other ones. Actually seeing the figure in action though he looks a lot better than when he was first revealed, his lips looked way bigger in those first photos, can't wait to get mine now. But man Toad is either gonna be a really great reveal or a really disappointing one cause where he at?
I'm still happy with my Hulk from the 2-pack with Wolverine, so I passed on this one. Plus damn is that face horrifying lol

Great video - thanks MCU. Hasbro did another Hulk job on this one. Greenskin in all his glory. If someone missed out on the 80th, this is the one for you. Not needing one, I cannot get as excited as some others. First off, the card has the Hulk in shorts while the sculpture wears pants. The Dill pickle lips I need to see because on video they look like pickles. I just wish we could have got a portrait from that old Series #2 (Galactus BAF) wearing shorts, and our original Avengers team would be closer to completion. Hasbro would have hit that "Kirby" look too.

Ironclad would be for the Ufoes.
Great review, but when will hasbro come out with Weapon H hulk or Skaar, or even spider hulk? Would love to see those.

I would love it if Hasbro did these Heroes: Vanguard, Charlie 27, Nikki, Starhawk, Aleta, Martinex and the Original Yondu from the comics as well as Corsair, Hepzibah, Raza and Ch'od along with Gorgon, Karnak, Crystal and Triton and for Villians, Salam Seven,Wrecking Crew, Frightful Four, The Ufoes, Hasbro has always stated that the fans were #1!!

Excellent review! Just heard from BigBad that my pre-order of this figure is finally being processed. It's a good looking figure, but I do wish that the lips weren't so overly emphasized on this figure. The last time I saw a mouth like that there was a hook in it. ::drum roll:: I know that this is supposed to feel "old school" or "classic", but it's not any old school or classic version that I've ever seen! I have every Hulk comic book from the '70s and '80s, but I don't remember one single time that he EVER had that hair style! WTF??? I find it odd that Hulk has disco hair (parted and the middle and combed back on the sides) and even sideburns in the sculpt. Did Banner hit the disco scene in a WHAT IF? comic or something?? I've NEVER seen him with sideburns. Not once. lol. Very weird! I would have preferred a nice Herb Trimpe/John Severin looking Hulk instead, or even a Sal Buscema style head. Maybe the sculptors at Hasbro aren't up to the task of doing truly retro or classic figures, because we've never received a decent Jack Kirby Hulk head sculpt either. All we get is something quasi-old school or post-modern takes on classics. Sigh. "What a revoltin' development." Still, it's the Hulk. Any one can clearly see that it is. It's just a new, "post-modern retro" take on him.
I have the original series 1 figure so I chose to buy the immortal Marvel Select instead.
How does Hasbro have Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk already to go, but don't have Toad ready?🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂ They should give us the slap hands, that would be cool. That head looks smaller than the new head.
2 pack is the only green hulk you'll ever need. Pass on this.

Great review.... I find it funny how you always get everything early from toy snow man, but when you post the videos they never have the figures in stock and have no idea when they will get them.
It’s because they don’t get full order quantities at the time. For example if he orders 50 cases of a figure, he may only get 10-15 at a time from Hasbro.

I still hate these head sculpts. For me, it's mostly the hair. With the 70's shaggy and sideburns, they just don't evoke any version of the Hulk that I am familiar with. If it weren't for that, the screaming head would be fine, but the grimacing face makes that fish mouth look comically bad. The deco doesn't work me either. I like light and dark green highlights, but these don't make sense. The heads especially should have light green highlights.
I still prefer the 80 years 2 pack.

Not a fan of the heads on this one. I have every other iteration of this Hulk body and I hate how small the feet are. I am still hoping for a comics accurate Mr. Fixit (bigger, better face and head)

I liked this figure more than I thought, but I'm still pissed the previous definitive ML Hulk was issued in an overpriced and quickly scalped two-pack! It's not fair to the rest of us!

It looks nice, but i do not like the hair, it just looks odd, perhaps it would look better if it was a little shorter.

I cringe when I see the MCU depiction of the hulk because I feel Disney kind of turned him into a wuss. You’re right on, he’s supposed to look this way.
