Film series on the exhibition "Beuys - Lehmbruck. Thinking is sculpture"
Joseph Beuys' "Capri Battery" was part of the show "Pollution. Body States. Fascism. Christoph Schlingensief and Art", in which the Frankfurter Hauptschule collective was also involved. The collective wanted to have the said work stolen and brought "in a symbolic act of restitution to the former German colony of Tanzania" to representatives of the Hehe tribe. The title of the action: "Bad Beuys go Africa".
The Frankfurt secondary school talks to curator Johanna Adam about the action and, of course, about Beuys.
