Agreed. I do the same and then end up watching that video multiple times. Give it time
I didn't watch it yet either, mostly bc I only watch 1 video/day, so I tend to pick ones that hint what the triggers are. Admittedly, I gravitate toward spa and hair play videos. If I'm trying to sleep, intimate conversations (affirmations, when they ask questions etc) can be distracting, or I feel rude tuning it out, so I'll often pick something with whispers that fade easily into the bg. Not saying I don't appreciate the pep talk whispers, they are awesome! But I may not be the only one who doesn't go for them all the time.

My cat died 3 days ago and I’ve been crying ever since. I wasn’t expecting this video to be so calming, but it was. For the first time in a week, I’ve been able to push the pain aside and just let someone “take care” of me and give in to the exhaustion.
I’ve put this on loop, so whenever I wake up, I can hear it and not feel so alone.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. We lost one of ours this week too. She was 25 years old and had lived an amazing life. No matter how long they've been in our lives, it still hurts when they have to leave us. I hope you feel your cat's presence as your new angel.

It’s amazing to me how you can actually “feel” you or other ASMR artists come towards the camera and caress your face or hair.
