I'm proud to be Appalachian. I'm proud of my people, We have shown through the generations that we deserve to exist. We have many things to overcome. I know in my heart we will and we will do our ancestors proud. I'm also happy that this podcast exists.

The pepperoni roll made me lol fr! Until I left the Ohio Valley I didn't realize it was a regional thing.
Oh it was this episode that was my favorite. It reminded me of American Gods, a book by my favorite author Neil Gaiman.
I just started reading American Gods! Not reading much since i found this podcast though lol
I love when I stay away just long enough for 3-5 episodes to drop so I can spend the day going through them. The set up in this episode was excellent and that last scene not only had me shook at the beginning & beaming a smile by the end, but the actors' portrayal of that final exchange brought a tear to my eye.
Such warmth conveyed in that meeting.
Thankfully I got one more episode I can listen to today!

I'm very curious if we're ever gonna see a proper full-on Green antagonist, or if its going to be treated as essentially a force for good all throughout. Maybe that's what Jack is? He seems like he's meant to be his own thing though.

because my head is empty, I didn't realize the significance of Bartholomew's name the first...three times I listened to this, but in my defense, I've only watched this far each of those times.
