@@JackMcCrack10 the man was burnt out at this point this why he took a break before the home again album. He recorded two albums in the span of two years (the first one got shelved and the second one became the Bobby album). While being on the road consistently for 4 years in the road. Shit even new edition got a bigger break than he did between albums

One thing about Bobby, he could give a show and perform. He always believe in singing live but that was the way back then. The only thing that played was the background for you back in the day. When you performed, you had to be live and keep stamina while performing.

Yes it very evident unfortunately! Bobby could SING! Like sing SING! His range was awesome & amazing pitch control! I actually write this on a lot of his videos cause it’s always overlooked but he was a phenomenal singer. Unreal dancer with amazing stage presence. Had the looks to top it off & he was a well spoken great guy coming up BUT the decline was fast. He did “On our own” 2years before this performance & brought the Fuckn house down!!! He is so off singing here that they cut a lot of the performance when they replayed the show on mtv. Such a shame cause nobody was more talented than Bobby. He still made a name for himself & nobody can take that from him. Wow sorry for rambling lol

@TheVerinxi nope, babyface produced humpin around. I used to think the same because it sounds more new Jacky than a typical face song.

all positive comments...I will say that Bobby had the ingredients. sometimes he was too excited & it took away from how talented he was & how well he can present a song even with all that fabulous dancing...saw NE with Bobby a few years back. All the guys (other than Bobby) got through the entire great show & never missed a beat. Bobby had to stand their while they were dancing & leave the stage a couple times.. He came out too excited & lost steam.

Personally I used to do musical theater and I got really badd into drugs in my younger years which I'm currently a recovering addicts and I have been clean for a little bit now. I love Bobby but hes definitely high on cocaine during this performance because when I would perform and do drugs before I went on stage I would displayed these same type of symptoms... Shortness of breath and a whole lot of energy. Great performance though Bobby Brown is the king of R&B

Damn. Maybe he felt he needed it to keep up because his performances were so lively.

could be why a lot of dancing performers lip sync during their performances. Even michael jackson did it. It's near impossible to keep up that level of intensity dancing and still be able to sing (and breathe) at the same time lol.
