As a fellow chronically ill girly who is it home all the time and has a husband that works Monday to Friday, I totally get it. I always put so much pressure on myself to do everything because I’m at home so I feel like I should (definitely internalised misogyny that I need to work on), like you, I wouldn’t expect the same of anyone else. Hey just so you know most figs commonly grown in the US don't need wasps to pollinate them, so if your tree is dropping it's fruit it's probably either that it needs to be pruned or needs to be fertilized.

Dropping fruit is usually a nutrient or water issue, too much or too little. A common mistake when fertilising and watering is only doing so closest to the trunk of the tree. As a rule if thumb, the root system is as wide as the widest part of the tree's crown so you should water and fertilise as far out as the longest branches. The clay may have effected the tree aswell.

I love your homeowner diaries videos. I miss having my own homeowner projects (currently renting), and I'm so enjoying seeing you make the space your own!
Re: Cabinet doors. I think the little friction catches on that style of cabinet door can loosen up over time. You might be able to bend the existing catch arms together more to tighten them or just replace them with something stronger (maybe roller or magnetic catches) to hold the doors closed. They can be pretty cheap, and certainly less work than refinishing the cabinets. To help reduce binding on the hinge side from paint buildup, you could also try using a few playing cards stacked as a shim beneath the hinge plate that attaches to the door to make the door sit more proud of the opening. Those semi-concealed partial inset hinges can be tricky to match when shopping for replacements online. I ended up stripping and repainting mine. Best of luck!

I felt like I was listening to myself when you were talking about your sinus infections😂 I didn’t go to an ENT I went to an allergist cause I thought it was my cats (it was) but I actually needed the pneumococcal pneumonia vaccine booster. My immune system was at 21% lol so my body really suffering. We get the vaccine as baby and some people end up needing a booster later in life and have no clue until a doctor finally notices it. That’s what happened to me so maybe try that! ❤️
Meghan, I've had the same exact sinus symptoms for the last 8 months and I was convinced I just developed new allergies because I work with animals on a daily basis. I tested negative for all allergies and finally went to an ENT and found out it was my adenoids (similar to tonsils) that needed to be removed! Wishing you luck with your health journey. Also I've been watching you for nearly a decade which is crazy!

I know that so many can’t even fathom the idea of someone loving that much “just” a dog… in reality I like dogs better than humans.

I HATE that people paint over the hardware! It's so frustrating because as you know it gets stuck and annoys you. When we were renovating my house which is around the same age as yours, we found out that they painted all the windows shut and a couple of doors were painted shut to bedrooms. I don't understand the motive to waste paint to do that lol.
