I just like bettye. I found and enjoyed this song. I am old, born in 1952. I didn't know it was Bob. And I am a Dylan fan. I guess I am naive but a fan of bettye and dylan.
Dylan's catalogue of music is incredible. A Lyric Master. Bettey LaVette's recording of this is excellent. She's got an incredible voice. Dylan's version is awesome too wish they'd get together & sing it.
Btw, I can relate on the gettin older. Time waits for no one. No matter who there's no one getting any younger no matter what they do.

I don't know- how many different versions of this track, ( done by Bettye)- that I have watched and listened to. Her voice- and stage presence, is outstanding! (And her back-up musicians, are all of the very best!) Hopefully- I will get to see her perform, LIVE!

Sounds fantastic. Lots of people don't like Dylan's voice or style, which I get. But his songs are just awesome. If you don't like listening to Dylan all you have to do is listen to all the covers of his songs to appreciate his songwriting. So many great ones.
See if you can find from an Israeli record store an unauthorized album of Hebrew adaptations of Dylan's most challenging songs by an artist named Noam Faust and his Israeli band Proyect Ha'Gummiyah (which translates as The Rubber Band Project). Next to Joan Osborne's own cover on her RELISH album that turned her into a star, but a deep track on that album of hits is a very spooky production of "Man In The Long Black Coast", the Hebrew version by
Noam Faust & Proyect HaGummiyah is creepiest of all. Primal!

Yes and if only more of the music world doesn't cover Dylan's mammoth volume of masterpieces! Generally 2 or 3 per album usually! But it's material only Dylan has the knowledge insight depth and ability to write! Adele's cover is undoubtedly her best song! Suits her melancholic post pubescent disposition perfectly! Greatest artist since Picasso!? And who replaces Dylan!?? Using Dylan's acceptance speech for Nobel prize laureate nobody in the pop music world!
