for me i will just pay, easier, even if it's not a date but first time meeting/jio a female friend out. the $50/100 is not gonna bankrupt you nor enrich you anyway, so yea just to give a good impression plus easier no need so awkward. Of course don't gehgao go highclass place loh. however i do have a bad experience with someone. There was this lady, the first time we went out, I paid for the meals which is fine, then she suggested to go somewhere nearby to have coffee and cake which was fine by me, but there was no action from her when it comes to payment, oklo i pay nvm. n we went for another 2 dinner after that (months apart each time), everytime she was the one jioing but I was the one paying, so weird, cus it was quite clear to me that after the first meal, we were just going out as friends and not dates....i just stop contacting her lol (online friend by the way 🤣).......
Bro, i got similar experience as you hahaha. I just ghosted her one day. Its also very complicated because as men we are taught that every date we must pay because its gentlemen of us. I don't know about your case but for me I am fortunate that my family is abit well off and she is aware of that so its hard to tell whether she is taking advantage of me or just simply thinks that every man going out on date with her everytime must pay for her meal regardless of the man financial status. Its irritatingly complicated.
@@sebastiansim9183 u date her so many times still havent make her ur gf yet ah? haha. once she becomes my gf, i dun really mind paying everytime, luckily i am earning a comfortable salary so i don't really mind paying. but if she is obviously taking advantage of me aka always plan the expensive places when eating with me but cheap food when eating alone then i guess i will stop paying or just kick her out of my life. i don't mind paying but i dislike being taken advantage of on purpose.......

My case is not true. She is a business owner and is making good money. She also goes on holiday and go good restaurant as well. Just dun understand her mindset. The 3rd place we went was sushiro and total bill was probably less than $100 for 2. It's also not that we went super high end place but i just feel uncomfortable that there was no intention for her to pay or go dutch.......cannot be go out 100 times also i pay all the time wat. not my gf my wife my family y i pay?

马来西亚，新加坡，和臺湾的男人第一次约女生出去当然要是男生给。最重要的是这些国家的女生都不会特别要求一定要去那种贵的餐馆。说声难听的，即使女的对那个男的没兴趣，但假如第一次被约去快餐店，她们可能都会明白那个男的经济现在是有限，也不会看不起别人，因为她们至少会有自知之明。如果第一次约的是中国的女人，男生就要懂得保护自己，很大可能性遇到海女或娼妓，别乱花钱。

大概能总结，花不花钱其实不重要，因为即使你绅士地花了第一次，如果她不喜欢你就再也没有第二次，所以不需要伤脑筋伤荷包去计划要吃什么去哪里。
