Born and raised in Augusta GA. I have been to Spook bridge at night. It is creepy as hell and is crawling with spirits. I lost all my pictures and video from it due to not having cloud storage and my computer crashing! I live in SLC Utah now. I miss my south and my home state! Holla all the true Georgia Peaches!!

I live about 12 miles from the bridge. The reason the bridge got closed was the state came in and put a new and better highway called Highway 84 through making that road pretty much obsolete. People go out there to have parties as well as practice occult activities.
The city has no jurisdiction over the bridge because it is not in Valdosta or Quitman. Therefore they can’t tear it down.
There are wild bears, turkeys, deer and other wildlife out there. The water table was low at that time which is why the river wasn’t running much. When the river is high it will go under the other bridge as well.

I know it’s a scary location...However I also find it has quite beautiful scenery in the surrounding woods! (Amazing drone footage as well Omar!) OBVIOUSLY the haunted aspect is unnerving..I’d personally be VERY afraid!🙈 IF you go back at night PLEASE bring several people.
Also. YOU HAVE to bring some insect repellent with DEET...Deep Woods Off works great in the dense woods here in Northern Minnesota. So try that maybe! We don’t want you getting any mosquito carried diseases..Si please be safe!
