Mine is working great with wide mouth pint and quart jars. But I cannot get it to work at all with small jars or regular mouth jars. When I pull the device off the jar, the lid comes off with it. The regular mouth attachment feels as if it's much too tight. For now, anything that needs to be in a small jar has to have an oxygen absorber.
I’m not sure which brand you have. You can probably try to align the top and push down the vacuum sealer directly on top. Push it down with your hand as it pressurizes.
@@Lelitascubankitchenok I have the same brand as you are showing in the video. When I seal wide mouth jars, the device pulls off fairly easily. But when I try to remove it from the small mouth jars, it's very very tight. I'll keep trying but thank you so much for your response!
Soooo Many People purchase these thinking this is CANNING their food, but it IS NOT... it just sucks out the air. if you have already canned items that you have Opened and want to keep fresher longer in the refrigerator this may work.
Awesome video!! I am so glad I found this! I am curious to know is everyone still bathing there bottles and then sealing? Or does this eliminate the need to seal in boiling water?
@@sherrymoreau3176 Hi my friend, yes people are still doing that. It’s two different methods. The boiling preserves food for a few years. This vacuum sealer only preserves for a few weeks to a few months. Liquids have to be refrigerated or frozen. Dry food can be preserved for a few months.

I’m ordering one now. Thanks for your review.
Glad I came across this. I've been Stopping at 40 seconds instead of going over. Will have to check seals from time to time, I guess. Thanks!
You’re welcome. ☺️ Thanks for watching.
Great video! I can make a lot of Sofrito & store it safely. Thank you for review.

Can you leave the liquid sealed jar on the shelf or does it need refrigerator
Dry goods can be shelved but liquids have to be refrigerated.
After watching I am going to buy this. Thanks for your link.
I never heard of those before. Thanks for reviewing it. It is something I can use because I put leftovers in mason jars.
