I second what you said about chemical and physical sunscreen. The only one that doesn't make my skin feel red or burnt after sun exposure and keeps my melasma at bay is always physical.

I am with you about Naked Sunday mineral sun screen! I learned about it from one of your earlier videos. I had always used mineral sunscreen but this is far superior than any other that I have tried. 2 finger lengths is a must.

As someone who doesn’t do well with tretinoin/ret, yet my skin is pretty resilient (not super sensitive so not sure what it is about tret that makes me peel for literally two weeks) I’m excited to try this peel ! Thank you for showing us the process

You mentioning chemical sunscreen makes me wonder. A couple years ago after being on vacation I developed what I thought was sun poisoning. I was confused because I am very diligent with my sunscreen. Often, though, when I have my whole family on vacation I buy chemical sunscreen. On my face, however, I have been using ones that you have recommended. My face barely burned. I didn’t really burn on my body but this awful rash popped up. It was there for months and even a dermatologist couldn’t figure it out. Assumed it was viral. But, I wonder if the sunscreen I was using had anything to do with it. That may not be what it was but you bring up an interesting point. What is also interesting is it happened again the following year. I knew how to manage it and it faded more quickly but maybe my skin just cannot handle chemical sunscreens anymore. 🤷🏻‍♀️My daughter can only use mineral or her eczema flares terribly. So I have always bought her something different.

It leaves a VERY dewy finish. I bought it (before it came to Target, so I had to wait for shipping from Oz) and was so excited to get it. I used it once and I looked like I was having a hot-flash that wouldn't go away. But I'm _extremely_ fair-skinned, so maybe that's why 😞

I apply sunscreen every single day and wear that sun sheild when I cut the grass, etc ..I bought the bluestone? Sunshield and wore 70 spf when I went on the boat, but came home and had melasma. We reap what we sew though...I was a laying out in the sun with baby oil for 25 years. I do the tca about once a year and sometimes I just don't get a good deep peel despite layering a 20%! I buy the teeny tiny trial size tca' and I find it loses efficacy after a while and the trial is enough for my face and neck. I do my chest and hands too though. Ok let me stop running my mouth lol

I can’t say I did anything for it I just noticed after awhile that it was gone. Thanks for doing this Michelle… it helped cure my former hesitation to start with at home peels.
Can’t wait to get into Platinum videos and order their peel… my age spots and freckled nose are not cute @ age 67; I hesitate to go out in public make-up free because I’m so uneven and blotchy.
BTW, how does one know if their red cheeks are actually rosacea? Maybe that’s a silly question and I need to get the answer from the Platinum guru’s videos. I can easily cover it with Seint, French Face or a skin tint, so maybe I just have MILD rosacea.
Can’t wait to follow your journey further. I’m officially so inspired to even out my face… My Lindsey just found out she’s having a second baby late October, and this Nana wants to see great results by then so I feel very ok about being bare-faced when I “face-snuggle” our new grandson.
Enjoy Gracie’s prom and revisiting N. Carolina!

Hi Michelle, I was a sun worshiper in my younger days and also the tanning bed. But in my late 30s started using sunscreen and have not been without. But now in my late 60s I become a very minimalist makeup skincare with good moisturizer and sunscreen. I use super goop but cannot wear anything by my eyes and eyelids I get such bad reaction and they have become so so sensitive. I have embrace the few sun spots I have. Do have a question. Michelle can I use my Demi for my under eye area only to color correct?
