Chaukori is a tiny hamlet in the lap of Kumaon Himalaya in Uttarakhand and famous for its location. People come here to enjoy uninterrupted views of Majestic Panchachuli and Nanda Devi peaks. In this 3rd episode of our Nainital tour from Kolkata via Kathgodam railway station, from Kausani, we reached Chaukori . En route, at Kausani, we visited Anasakti Ashram (Gandhi Ashram), Kausani Shawl Factory, and Baghnath temple at Bageswar, near the confluence of River Saryu and Gomti.
