The fact that you only used a minute of the video getting the car back to stock really shows how much work was put into the GT3 kit. Because I remember the entire rebuild, it definitely was a ton of content and took some time to get done.

Joshua Silverglade it wasn’t a joke the car had a wiring issue that if the key was in the perimeter and you’d press the brake pedal, it would start.

What makes this build so special is that instead of just putting a kit on (like a lot of people do) they went the extra mile to make sure all of the creature comforts and electronics from the OEM body still functioned properly. THAT is likely what caught the buyers attention. It's one thing to find a GT3 kit car, its another to find one with all of the working components without losing the drivability. well done
So much hard work put into that car! Your guys did such an amazing job. Excited for the next build. Keep grinding TJ❤️

true but its still something special because it was put a lot of hours of hard work and not anyone can get that car
despite the crash, pretty sure it had a clean title, thats the whole reason he bought it.

To protect the paint is usually why people wrap supercars, in this case tho im not sure.
In the original rebuild from the he didn't want to repaint the car because the grey hood and replacement front fenders didn't match the white of the rest of the car. He wrapped it red because he knew that he didn't want to repaint the car until he got the GT3 kit so he just used the wrap to drive it around for 7 months as a regular 458.
This just showed up again in my recommendations Dec-2021. Awesome to see again 2 years later. You've accomplished so much since this but for me personally, this was still my favourite build you have done. Can't wait to see what you tackle in the future.

Nah sorry man I think 2nd because of bisforbuild's huracan that was burnt and now a beast with a stick shift and he did it for a very short time considering his work and how its burnt with all the ideas where barely anyone would come up with but ok ur opinion
@@verd4nt_ you are crazy I'm not saying TJ's Ferrari is the best rebuild of 2019 but that Lamborghini looks ridiculous and the shifter is so far back it's not practical at all I would say that's the dumbest car he has rebuilt that blue Z was his best rebuilt the Ferrari definitely has the Lambo beat

@@verd4nt_ everyone has an opinion as we are all entitled to one I wasn't trying to be disrespectful I was just voicing mine. I think B is for build does some pretty good work but I think that Lamborghini is atrocious and that shifter is so far back you could never bang gears he would lose every race just because the way he has to shift it not to mention the different colors on the car now don't get me wrong if the car was one solid color it would probably look beautiful but as it sits now I think it is hideous I'm all for saving the stick shifts and I like the concept but I think it needed more R&D

i like how tj even said "i want this car to be unique and special, not being a racecar and having the gt3 kit and not actually being drivable, i want all the sensors, camera and everyt to work." now he cant even drive it no more cuz its gone. I feel like if u wanna sell it, atleast wait a few videos to be made with the car before selling it and make the profit, you didnt even made enought videos with the car all complete with the gt3 kit, like srsly only the sema videos and now its gone, this was one of the series of builds he does i actually follow because i was genuinely interested, now its gone is unbelieveable... just some thoughts, what do yall think?
Think the price the buyer threw was more than tj thought it would sell and didn't wanna lose this opportunity. Guess money was more important here than car itself
I mean, from a business perspective he definitely is going in the right direction. He's creating a unique 1 of a kind product with highly desired parts. From the beginning he said he was going to flip this car, idk why everyone is getting so butthurt over someone else's decisions.

Hey TJ. Now that your skills for Fab and everything have improved so much, have you and the team thought about building a kit car like the RCR GT40 or something similar? I think it would make for heaps of content to essentially build a car from the ground up.

Even when it was in its OEM form it was sick. Gt3 kit made it IMO an unsellable car cause it almost can’t be redone. It was perfect.
Sometimes you give up your old dreams to achieve greater ones and keep moving forward.

Congratulations, it looks stunning, many people are taking a guess at what you sold it for and I suspect that you were made an offer that you couldn't refuse at SEMA. Having that much money tied up in one vehicle which is at the end of its development curve and beginning of its drop in value, good decision.
Seriously one of the best looking cars in the world. Extreme and subtle at the same time
