That's a tough one... I, for one, really appreciate your viewpoint on things. I think it's true that there is a viewer segment that is looking for information on someplace they're planning on travelling to -- I was planning a trip to CDMX, which was what brought me to your channel initially, and I think that might be why your CDMX videos get more views -- but I think that at the end of the day what differentiates one creator from another is the way that they bring their own personality to the channel. Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

Appreciate the comment. I feel like I get what you're trying to say. Budapest was super nice (besides the heat at times!). I think looking at the content I publish as a journal is healthy. I need to start creating/making/posting stuff I enjoy doing and am proud of 🙏🏽
I think for all of us who are fortunate enough to have enough stability and security to have time to reflect we end up contemplating our purpose and meaning so I think your questions may actually run deeper.
UA-cam is a really hard place to get your content seen because it's so saturated and it's also got a shitty algorithm that does not make it easy for budding Creators. TikTok is way easier to grow with because they actually put thought into getting your content seen, and while it seems like a younger audience, it's literally the most universal platform right now. You're not doing anything wrong; you may just need to expand the platforms you choose to share on. Best wishes--I really enjoy your content and I hope you keep going.
I feel that. I have definitely been trying to spend more time creating short form content on TikTok. Surprisingly the most traction I have gotten from shorts has been on UA-cam Shorts & IG Reels so far. I will definitely continue investing in short form content bc I definitely agree/believe the algo is built to help new/small creators. Really appreciate the comment and support 🙏🏽

True, when you are in survival mode you don’t have time to think. Sometimes thinking can make you spiral to not do great places.
