Today we are going to be doing a longer format video on re-scoring a Nissan Commercial. Re-scoring is a fantastic way to practice your production and composition skills when you don't have any current projects, or if you're looking to pursue this business. Enjoy!

My favourite creator atm!
You’re too kind, thank you so much!
That mixing in mono from nothing trick is neat, definitely gonna try that one out.
It has saved nearly ALL of my mixes. It’s very uncomfortable at first, but the difference it makes is incredible
Wow and Wow. Thank you so much for this demo and breaking it down to a very understandable level. I have mostly recorded music alone, but I am getting ready to start writing and / or produce music to match and enhance and follow videos, and you have really inspired me in my endeavors. I enjoyed learning from you and this UA-cam video and looking forward to following you and reviewing your past videos also on different subjects. Thank you very much, and I look ahead to a bright future and studying your guidance videos.
That was so kind of you to say. Glad I could be apart of your journey, thanks!
can you please make more videos on guitar arrangements like layering different guitar sounds(acoustic, electric) and making a song interlude/hook or track...also some sound design techniques using the stock logic pro amp and pedalboard
I sure can, but honestly doing a video dedicated to Logic’s Amp and Pedalboard plugins intrigues me, is there something specific you would like to see covered? A big question I’ve had for years was how to get it to sound more realistic, that could be an interesting take. Let me know!
@@TrevBarnes yes yes sure...please do that..also rather than focusing on the clean tones try some experimental crunch tones and how can they be used in a song..would love to learn about some of your guitar playing techniques too
Very useful contents. Thankyou. Definitely gonna try mixing in mono.
Thank you, thank you, and again, thank you!
You’re welcome, you’re welcome, and again, you’re welcome! ☺️
So you’re just drumming using a midi keyboard I’m guessing? I can’t see your hands but I’d love to learn more about these plug ins and see you create different instrument sounds in logic using a midi keyboard
Hey there, yes. I’m using the Korg MicroKey for every VST I use. The keys are different parts of the drums, so for example if I was using a traditional drum kit sound, C1 would be the kick, C#1 would be a rim click, D1 would be a snare, and so on and so forth. I just practiced a lot to be able to play drums on a keyboard, I’ve gotten a lot of requests to break that down so I most likely will in an upcoming video.
@@TrevBarnes amazing thank you!
