Lakota John & Kin - Millennium Stage (November 26, 2016)

Music Maker Relief Foundation recording artists Lakota John & Kin are known for blending their ancestors’ ancient Native American harmonies and traditional blues music. The members are part of the Lumbee and Oglala Nation and released their self-titled debut album in 2013.

I so enjoyed this lovely family of musicians. Lakota's native flute brought me to joyful tears. The Native American songs they did of the Black Water River people also moved my soul... Quite an enjoyable performance all around. Beautiful.
