      Onseki thank you brother! Ever since this video was uploaded, there has been some minor modifications which may have brought it up closer to 175-180 whp (atleast that’s what it feels like lol) but 165whp was definitely still a blast specially when it’s paired with a lightweight flywheel

    My b16a second gen 94 civic dx made 232whp all motor a b18c5 should make a lot more

      Yup 81mm, at the time the bolt ons were intake, headers, full 2.5in exhaust to a greddy muffler.

    Next time you wana drain your gas easier just connect a smal hose to your fuel return and let the car run its stil gna be running but no fuel returning to the tank. Drains shit quick

    the hp numbers that you see online are measured at the crank. a b18c1 makes ~170 to the crank in stock configuration. so its gonna lose power once it gets to the tires. 165 is good for a stock gsr with the mods that are on it. you can make 200whp with stage 2 cams, dual valve springs and aftermarket intake and exhaust and high comp pistons in a gsr.

      imacf90 yea I figured that was the case, I actually just got her te-tuned last week and it made 182whp same setup just different intake and headers. I’m posting the video before friday

    Anybody else’s gsr leak right between the block and head I put A new gasket on and it didn’t help I’ve heard of like the vtec solenoid causing it but I’m not really sure

      yes, usually when you have an aftermarket distributor the seal inside as well as the outer seal leak because of the low quality material used. all you have to do is remove the distributor, take all the components out and replace the inner seal, once you put it back together replace the outer seal and if that doesn't do it, then yes the vtec solenoid gaskets are prone to leakage. even if it doesn't look like it, it doesn't hurt to change them anyways. keep me posted and let me know how this works out for ya

    So it made 163 whp. Whats it making out the crank then? 180-185? Whats a b18c1 horse power rating? 180 sum right?

      Not sure what it made to the crank but from what I’m told all you have to do is add 15% of the total wheel horsepower made and add that to the total to calculate crank horsepower in FWD cars.. with that being said it’s about 187HP to the crank. But the car is now b18c1 swapped and makes 182whp

    Got any contact info for that tuner? Boy sounds puertorican all the way(Im from PuertoRico) and Ive seen that oklahoma Tag, ive moved up here recently and im looking for somebody to trust to tune my GSR, Thanks in advance!

      Roberto Ruiz his name is Eric tirado, AGN Motorsports here in Texas. I bought the car in Oklahoma and left the tags on for a couple days until I could get it registered but it’s here in Texas.

    I got 170 whp on b18c1, smoking due to a stuck ring on 1 piston. 200 is a minimum on a fresh gsr b18c1.160 to the wheels:

      Gasoline evaporates and loses all of its flammable capabilities very quickly. I see no harm unless it was on some plants 🤷🏽‍♂️

    I lost to a civic, it was a 2005 model. It had the Type R badge and on the trunk it had some Three letters (like GsR) what trim is that?

      Shadow Skeptic if it was an 05, most likely an Ep3 type r civic. They’re pretty quick!

      I’m not sure if they made a type r in 05 but the body style from 01-05 is the Ep3/em2 body style

      A b18c1 doesn’t make 200whp with out a lot of work

      All it had was small head work and a cam and it did 203 bhp it doesnt take alot of work to get 200hp i can get 200 hp from q non vtech d16 with just pisto s rods and forced induction kit and boom your aroumd the 350 mark

      Rudy V these are Konig Rollers, I actually found them in the Facebook market place for $50 w/ no tires. They were rough, I sanded them to get some of the imperfections out.

      Cedric Cope for the most part it is, I’ve got some aftermarket pistons, I believe they’re USDM type r replicas but not sure lol

    With proper bolt ons. You could be at a reliable 190whp. For 165whp you could of dropped in b20b for 500 hundo with better torque.

      well, I could've made around that # with better headers, ported head 2 IM as well as a 70mm TB to the IM and e85. But stock block and head with bolt-ons from what I see don't go past 180whp on pump gas. but yes i could use better parts lol.

      also not to mention, I forgot I could also upgrade my actual intake tubing to something custom made. I've read on forums that custom intake piping has been proven to increase power and torque dramatically as they are tailored specifically for your car and upgrades.

      @@NoChillJus 3 inch intake velocity. Stack. Sk2 pro mani. 1320 header. With a good TUNE. Should be between 180 190. Whp.

      Not Sure I got everything you just mentioned besides the headers and the stack. Are you referring to the stack coming out the bumper like a cold air intake or a stack on a short ram intake arm?

      @@NoChillJus 1320 toda rep header. That alone should net you 10whp. Velocity stack. No cone filter. Use one of those nets for cold air intake as filter.
