    Utkarsh you said "There's a very specific usecase of when and how to do MBA" can you please explain more, when do we know exactly that it is the right time to do MBA. Also, a lot of people recommend doing MBA in Marketing along with CFA, does that make sense?

    Wouldn’t market be more efficient if allowed short selling cause it would help the market to be fairly valued. I know its not the only criteria but isn’t it important .

    Recently I have cleared CFA L1 with 90%ile. Thank you Utkarsh sir for your support. I am looking for job and simultaneously prepare for L2. I want to start my own PMS one day and manage portfolios. How should I start? In what field should I look for jobs such that it will help me in my PMS journey.

    Hi utkarsh, i have a doubt. If we invest on grow is it 100% safe or there is some sort of risk ? like who knows if grow will be there for next 50 years and i am planning for my retirement.

    Hello Utkarsh! I'm currently working in retail loans in a co-operative bank in Mumbai. My job is to issue sanctions by checking eligibility. Most of the work I do is just manual work involving typing out the whole sanction in MS Word. How can I switch into core finance roles? I have 6 months of internship experience in internal audit and 6 months in my current role. I'm a CFA L2 candidate and a qualified CMA (India). How can leverage my CMA degree?

    Goood Morning Sir,
    I'm confused in choosing my career objective. With 5 trillion dollar Indian Economy and with CFA cirriculum providing opportunites abroad. Have a big buffett to choose from. I'm a sales averse person and confused in choosing best possible field. I believe when putting in soo much of efforts why not work onshore?

    Hello sir,
    Thankful to your subject wise series for CFA L1 on YT. Helped me a lot for revision.
    I seek your advice related to what path one should follow and start from for a good career in fixed income or ESG analyst.
    Sir I am confused which role one should start with for eventually be in a good position in career. I think demand for ESG anlyst and fixed income analyst is increasing in the market. Please guide if it is not like that. And would it be good decision for making career in either of these two profiles.
    My brief profile:
    MBA - Finance
    worked in operations for 4+ years MF
    Total 2 years career break for government job preparation till now
    CFA L1 cleared recently Aug,2024 (got 90+ PR)

    I wanted your opinion on something-if you are a CFA Level 2 Candidate and you had two job offers in hand with the same salary, one as a Relationship Manager at SBI Securities (which is 100% sales) and the other as a Data Research Analyst at Morningstar, which one would you prefer and why?

    • @saikiranmungala9428
      @saikiranmungala9428 12 днів тому

      I can add on the Data Research Analyst at Morningstar as I have worked at the same post 2 yrs back. To be honest it is more of a cut copy past fundamentally with a layer of simple financial analysts of debt, corporate action just to fill data for their pitchbook platform. According to me this role doesn't add much to your investing journey. If sales is ok with you you can go with RM as you can get in touch with Equity research analyst and learn and make a switch to equity research in 1-2 yrs.

    I recently cleared CFA Level 2 and am currently confused whether to use Schweser or the official curriculum for Level 3. The vast content of the curriculum is a bit intimidating, though I understand it’s more comprehensive. However, I prefer studying in a more concise manner. If I rely on Schweser, along with EOC questions and BB examples from the curriculum, do you think that would be sufficient to clear Level 3?

    Hello sir
    I've cleared CFA Level 1 and am currently preparing for L2 (May 2025). Also, I'm currently doing an internship as a research analyst (I've cleared NISM RA exam). I'm a bit confused about which career path to choose. Like I see myself managing portfolios of people, preparing and selling research reports, or starting my own fund.
    Can you please guide me how to move into that direction? Or in private equity?
    I also know basic financial modelling (through videos) and python.
    The fun part is that I also enjoy teaching and making videos on UA-cam. Having interest in too many things is very confusing!
    Thank you sir
    -Vishesh Goel
    Details of my internship
    My company is a merchant baker focusing on SME IPOs and I do research on those SME IPOs and now started doing industry specific research too. It's been only 2 weeks since my internship started and it will take some time to better understand what work I'll be doing here.

    Many equity reports from different firms (icic, motilal oswal, etc) give same bias about a specific company even have the same wordings basically same report. I feel they are manipulating. What to think of this ?

    Hi Utkarsh sir, I have my CFA L2 exam in November. I am preparing through Schweser notes and till now I have been able to understand what I am reading but I am facing the problem of forgetting what I had read 1-2 months ago. I am getting around 75% accuracy on CFA portal questions but that I believe this is due to attempting the questions right after studying the reading. I am preparing for CFA L2 with a job currently and I am done with 85% syllabus. Can you help me with some advice on how I can do better in my L2 exam in November. Thank you!

    Hi Sir, I am FRM Level 2 candidate looking for jobs right now. Previously i have worked in audit field and am an MBA Finance grad. But now i have about 6-8 months gap in my career. How to land a job with these credentials and what to do to improve my chances of getting a job. Also is there any placement assistance course on fintree?

  • @VisheshGoel
    @VisheshGoel 7 днів тому

    Sir in ask fintree #3 you said completing L3 as a fresher is the worst idea, you need to do it with job. So like I've cleared L1 during my college and am currently preparing for L2 and I'm also a research analyst intern. So what should my strategy be in the near future? Especially after doing L2? Shall I start doing a job and then decide when can I give my L3, maybe in 2026.?
    Please guide me.
    Thank you
    -Vishesh Goel
