Princess Diana: The Quiet Revolution (FULL MOVIE)

  • No one in history has ever been so universally adored as Diana, Princess of Wales. In her short life she captivated the world with her beauty, charm and limitless compassion. She challenged the century old tradition of stoic Royal silence and brought a Queen and her people closer than ever before. The legacy of the people’s princess still lives on two decades after her tragic and sudden death. It was her love of life, of people, of those less fortunate and of her children that saw her lead a quiet but powerful revolution that changed the British royal family, forever.

      And she will never be compared to any one, beautiful inside and outside. Why did they really kill this woman? They thought that if they killed her she would be forgotten. They were so wrong, we will never forget Diana. When I watch this documentary with my kids, they ask me, 'mummy, who is this beautiful woman? and I say to them, 'she is the queen of people's hearts ', she may be dead but in our hearts she lives forever.

    She was indeed the people’s princess. She was absolutely an incredible human being. She was real she was humble that’s why people loved her so much because she was so relatable. I mean I’ll never know what it’s like to be a princess but she went through stuff and didn’t shun away from people when they gave her flowers or hugs. Incredible human being!!

      She was never beautiful either she had a crooked nose like Alain Prost the French F1 driver (except Prost’s nose was a lot more crooked than hers), in fact she looked like she had been a boxer with her nose. As for her hairstyles they were all awful (now I know everyone had bad hair in the 80’s) except one which she had while excepting an award in New York for Humanitarian Of The Year and she was wearing a black dress at the time, that hairstyle looked nice on her. I would have liked to have seen her with long hair (as an adult as I’ve seen her with long hair as a child) as those short hairstyles did nothing for her. i was 9 years old when we sat down to watch her funeral procession on tv. i did not know who she was but i was intrigued by the fact that my Granny was crying for this Lady we had never met and on that day a desire to learn more about her grew inside me. later, thanks to technology i found out a lot about the People's Princess and what i learnt about the royal family itself tore down that wall of enigma and awe i had built around it. i learnt about a kind woman who put others above herself, who worked hard to make her marriage work despite her husband's infidelity and i found devoted mother who loved her children above all. its not everyday that God will bless this world with a soul as generous and beautiful as hers and am glad that her children have found love and joy with women of their choosing. May her soul continue to rest in peace

Despite being the mother of the future heir, she never spent Christmases, Easter, etc., with her children.....She was an innovative, hands on Mother, which was a far cry from how Charles and his siblings and generations before them were raised!!!!

    • @mrlopez-pz7pu
      @mrlopez-pz7pu 6 років тому +14

      the royals dont "cherish her memory"? You barely saw anything to remind you that Diana ever existed?ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What is the family supposed to do? Go on TV every week and cry about her? Are they supposed to have a statue of her erected on every street corner? And when you say "the royals", who is it exactly you are referring to? And what the hell do you know about the family wanting to "forget her"? Considering the innovations done to the royal court since her death, I would say that the family most certainly has NOT forgotten her.
      Whatever the case, there is a water park dedicated to Diana that was opened by the queen, & her 2 children supervised its creation. The family has "cherished her memory" by taking very good care of her children, who are light-years more well-adjusted to the modern world than their royal ancestors ever were. They were very well taken care of, and if that isnt "cherishing her memory" than I dont know what is.

    • @pebbles7864
      @pebbles7864 6 років тому +19

      That "ditch" in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, is a joke. Yes, I was there. I'm not sure which of her two children supervised this joke either..Andrew and Anne? I hardly believe that. I think Diana's sisters may have had a say but I'm not sure. No, I don't expect them to be on television every week saying they miss her but I didn't expect to get the feeling that they have tried their best to forget her either. I felt it insulting that they didn't keep her apartments as they were in commemoration of Diana, the way that they did with Princess Margarets so that the people could get a glimpse of what her daily life was really like as we could Margarets. jAnd yes I did hope to see some lasting grand work of art to honor Diana for all the accomplishments she made in they way society understands and responds to people with Aids and other very important hard core issues that royals never had tackled before Diana came on the scene. I think she deserved that much and not be air brushed completely out of the picture after her demise. Thank you very much now you take the trip over there and see for yourself the pithy way that she has been commemorated! and lastly I would hope that anyones children would be well looked after if they were to expire and not be able to raise them for the childrens sake alone!!

I don't blame QE really, she was raised a certain way and could not be any differently. Charles could bear some blame, but he too had to live within the parameters set for him by previous generations.

      @I'm Done Forced to marry her??? Her purulent behaviour???? What a joke! He was a 31yr old man. He had the balls to bang the Rottweiler from day one so why not the balls to say no to mommy and daddy? Because he is a selfish self absorbed self entitled over paid welfare recipient that wanted his cake and eat it to. He used a 19yr old as a broad mare and when she caught on she rebelled. Then everyone says oh she must be unbalanced. What a fucking joke. What woman wouldn't be scorn you fool.

      @@christiandebasio5673 Yes tell it like it is. Princess Diana was the perfect example of " PEOPLE WILL PUSH U TO UR LIMITS and WHEN U FINALLY HAVE ENOUGH AND FIGHT BACK UR THE BAD ONE" Poor Princess. Like I always said Chucky could've stood up to his parents and rest of the establishment and "Look I cannot marry this girl(Diana)I don't love her. I'm in love with someone else (Camilla) I rather give up the crown than using and hurting an innocent naive girl. But Chucky is too selfish greedy and weak.

    My heart breaks for Diana. She gave so much to Charles and the Royal family and they just didn’t understand her. She was only 19 when she married Charles, just a girl who wanted to be loved and adored by her prince. I do think Charles loved her at first but he obviously loved Camilla more. I believe everything happens for a reason and without Diana, the royal family wouldn’t be what it is today. She changed it for the better. RIP Diana, the People’s Princess 👑

      Do you think Camilla ever left him and them alone long enough for Charles to actually love his wife? When Diana confronted Camilla about her affair with her husband, Camilla responded with tradition and roles. *You get the children and the title and I get the man.* *c’mon Diana be a good girl and turn your head.* But Diana thought more of herself than that.

    I read Diana’s book by Andrew Morton a few years ago when I was extremely depressed and had the hardest time keeping my chin up. It taught me how one has the ability to rise above and work to strengthen ones self. I was only 4 years old when she passed, but Diana was a great person. She changed the monarchy forever! RIP Diana!
