She was never beautiful either she had a crooked nose like Alain Prost the French F1 driver (except Prost’s nose was a lot more crooked than hers), in fact she looked like she had been a boxer with her nose. As for her hairstyles they were all awful (now I know everyone had bad hair in the 80’s) except one which she had while excepting an award in New York for Humanitarian Of The Year and she was wearing a black dress at the time, that hairstyle looked nice on her. I would have liked to have seen her with long hair (as an adult as I’ve seen her with long hair as a child) as those short hairstyles did nothing for her. And her eyes, it looked like there was just something evil behind her eyes in some of the looks she gave

i was 9 years old when we sat down to watch her funeral procession on tv. i did not know who she was but i was intrigued by the fact that my Granny was crying for this Lady we had never met and on that day a desire to learn more about her grew inside me. later, thanks to technology i found out a lot about the People's Princess and what i learnt about the royal family itself tore down that wall of enigma and awe i had built around it. i learnt about a kind woman who put others above herself, who worked hard to make her marriage work despite her husband's infidelity and i found devoted mother who loved her children above all. its not everyday that God will bless this world with a soul as generous and beautiful as hers and am glad that her children have found love and joy with women of their choosing. May her soul continue to rest in peace

I remember I didn't go to work the day she got married, being in Miami, there were almost 6 hours difference, I also remember the night I found out she died, it was a feeling of sudden emptiness, like if an angel left the earth and we were left alone. She was the real princess in the fairytale books, beautiful, kind, sweet, angelical. She made that illusion happens in the 1990's and we all believe magic was possible. We still remember you beautiful princess.

Like the queen mother before her, she would most likely have continued after Charles’ death to be a wonderful image for the country and the world. I was married at 17 yrs old. My marriage lasted 30 yrs till my husband died an early death at 51 yrs so being young does not mean it doesn't last. Charles was the one who didn't love her. A mistake from start to finish. She wanted his love but didn't get it.

We all still miss Princess Diana but I don't see that the royals still cherish her memory. I was in the UK and barely saw anything there to remind us that Diana ever existed. I think most of the royals would rather forget her.

Whatever the case, there is a water park dedicated to Diana that was opened by the queen, & her 2 children supervised its creation. The family has "cherished her memory" by taking very good care of her children, who are light-years more well-adjusted to the modern world than their royal ancestors ever were. They were very well taken care of, and if that isnt "cherishing her memory" than I dont know what is.

Her expression of love and bravery in the face of ordeal handled by her alone at a very young age. So many distinguished personality and people treated her with respect inspite of being alone. We truly adored Princess Diana's bravery at a young age even alone in that difficult time when she was treated to silenced her by pretentious royal family all her stay in the empty palace, so cold and without human respect and love for human frailties. We will never forget the lesson of life and bravery you left behind.

My heart breaks for Diana. She gave so much to Charles and the Royal family and they just didn’t understand her. She was only 19 when she married Charles, just a girl who wanted to be loved and adored by her prince. I do think Charles loved her at first but he obviously loved Camilla more. I read Diana’s book by Andrew Morton a few years ago when I was extremely depressed and had the hardest time keeping my chin up. It taught me how one has the ability to rise above and work to strengthen ones self. I was only 4 years old when she passed, but Diana was a great person. She changed the monarchy forever! RIP Diana!
