@@ne4ious I've had good results with AiRaid intakes. I don't like intakes that are oiled. They clog the MAF sensor causing issues. Rather a washable intake filter for whatever model I use. I'm wondering what intake manifold to go with though. There are several options but at a big costs so need to see more videos showing results. For the exhaust, I want to go with long tube headers to a 3.5-4inch tube running straight to the back like OEM with a 5-6inch exhaust tip
Deleted the muffler only. Kept the resonator. Cats are still there. It was fun for a year. Last week I had a shop install a Corsa Sport exhaust [welded not clamped] and that took care of the loud drone inside the cabin. Check out my video on that bad boy...sounds mean AF.
@@ne4ious no way really? Why check engine from muffler? Did you have a leak or something? Usually it happens when people delete 3rd cat and there leak.cold air makes cel
Don’t think so. Sawed off the muffler and kept the resonator which is after the muffler. It was fun for a year, just had a shop weld on a Corsa Sport exhaust. The cabin drone inside is eliminated and now I can have a conversation with my wife LOL.
Same. Can’t hold a conversation. It was cool for a year. Last week I took it in for a Corsa Sport exhaust, my man, it sounds like a beast trapped in a cage. Highly recommend it. I posted the new video in my channel.
@@ne4ious sounds amazing.how about highways? My warranty almost up.and I am thinking about doing catless y pipe with 02 sensor fauler and tune.not sure if will have problems with smog test.
The bodystyle before these didn’t even needa straight pipe they were already loud
Crazy how good these things spund i have a 2018 one and it sounds so goo stock
love the 6.2L
I was about to say damn where did you get those taillights 😂😂 but that camera is something else!!
Trick is to keep the butterfly valve in! The exhaust note and drone improve greatly.
Oh man. Should’ve done that. It was fun for a year, installed a Corsa Sport and man I’m glad I did.
👷
Just the muffler n tip you got rid of? N put a aftermarket tip?
Dude this is AWESOME
Thanks. Muffler delete. Kept the resonator.
The taillights, do they do that all the time or is it just an effect of the camera?
It is the refresh rate of the camera. Using iPhone XS Max for video. Does the same thing with the interior lights.
Hmm
The designers probably liked seeing that and actually implemented it on the newer ones.
Very nice vehicle. I'd love into like a borla atak or s type or corsair exhaust. To classy of a vehicle to do a muffler delete.
It was cool for a year. Last week I took the ESV to install a Corsa Sport Exhaust. There’s a video in my channel. Check it out.
How did u get your lights to go up and down like that
It just does if.
Just purchased an escalade and wanted to add long tube headers and a muffler delete with an intake so I was curious.
What intake are you thinking? I got the K&N BlackHawk and it makes the engine growl very nice. Want to sell it and get the Corsa CIA.

Just the muffler. Did you leave the stock cats?

Hey does your truck have the check engine light on ? Bc you deleted the mufer?
Yeah. CEL came on. Cleared it with OBDC tool like two or three times and hasn’t come on ever since.

Was there a 3rd catalytic converter on your exhaust?!

Man I did exactly same thing on my 2016 escalade.sounds very deep.but it drones on road trips very horrible.how about yours?

How's the drone nois inside the cabin?
Not too bad. But you notice it.
It was fun for a year.
Sounds great what's the sound inside bro especially in back
It’s straight piped from the cat-back and the drone is not bad at hwy speeds.
Thanks
It was fun for a year. Installed a Corsa Sport last week. Sounds bada$$.
Does the emission still pass with muffler delte
Yes
It should because you still have the cats.
