@Matt Garcia
I'll offer you my understanding in hopes that it will help you get a clearer picture on what is being said. There are a couple layers to this idea.
1.This comment is suggesting that the Universe itself, which we are a part of, not separate from, is in no hurry to accomplish anything. What it accomplishes is built in inherently to the rules it naturally follows.
2. This idea implies then, to us, that we follow our motivations without concern for the outcome. That what we are motivated to do will lead us to our best possible outcome regardless of our little plans and designs.
3. When we concoct our plans and designs, a feature of that is that we limit our options for the future. It has been stated that depression is nothing more than a perceived lack of options at its core. A state of depression has all of those features mentioned like anxiety, stress and disappointment.
We think we should do more, be more, achieve more in an arbitrary timeline...only to find that all of these pressures we put on ourselves start stacking up over time. We rush to meet all of these in the best possible way we know how. Then life slowly starts becoming unmanageable and the stress of it all renders us paralyzed to take action.
We also become less focused on our journey and become hyper-focued on outcomes. Which leads to a poor quality of life and the inability to find joy. Even if we reach fulfillment of our intended plans and designs.
4. Layer 3 leads us to a heightened state of self centeredness...a belief to varying degrees that the Universe is separate from ourselves. The truth being we are not and in no way act any differently than following the rules of the Universe.
Follow your motivation without regard for the outcome, let go of the illusion of control and breathe.

Really, your comment came at exactly the right time. I'll throw you a Sub. Thanks for offering something of value in the comments.
By far the best channel on UA-cam.

Really creeped out by the larger-than-life action figures in the studio here.
I love the James Bond movie The Spy who loves me !
Read the book it is based on by Ian Flemming. We see Bond through the eyes of a woman he encounters.
I Respect these guys, people talk trash ,but its not a easy job,good work guys⚖️

So much for silent professionals Mr McGowan. With every story you write or talk about on Tv makes the job other UCs are doing that much tougher. How far you have fallen

"They (my family) made the same sacrifice I did." They suffered, yes, but NOT by choice, as you did. They were not given a choice. You didn't ask them, you didn't discuss their feelings with them. You forced your decision of life style on them. You choose to sacrifice them and now...was it worth it? Can you honestly testify, on balance, that you would do it again?
Don Duncan thats exactly what im curious to know aswell . Patrick needs to ask him that. i dun wanna read his book to find out , cause im lazzy af

4 minutes seemed too short for this guy's story. I guess he has a book to flog like every one on this channel. May as well be Letterman.
